  • High Quality amplifier
Size: 150-Watt Style: Amplifier Pattern Name: 4 Channel
I'm using the Roland KC-400 keyboard amp for 2 weeks and am very satisfied with the sound and features. I use it for the Kurzweil SP6 keyboard. The power and bass response are intense. The connectivity is versatile (to sub-woofer, mixing house system, microphone, handheld audio devices, etc.). It's a little heavy for an older musician like myself but that saves me paying for weight training at a gym. I highly recommend this amplifier. ... show more

  • Loud, well-built, and heavy.

Loud, well-built, and heavy. I had to add casters to the bottom. Good sound, but the tone controls don't shape the sound the way my keyboard requires. I'll need to add a separate equalizer. Oh, well, nothing's perfect.

  • Great, full sound and power

Wonderful, full sound, even for a relative novice rhythm guitar player like me. I wish it also had a USB port on aux input -

Great sound and dedicated microphone channel. Equalizer with sound shaping option. Great clear sound.

  • Good Sound but missing basic features
Size: 150-Watt Style: Amplifier Pattern Name: 4 Channel
This amp has a lot of power and is crisp and pretty "true" sounding to my ear. The eq is helpful. I use it behind me on gigs as my monitor. It has an xlr input for a mike so they anticipate the keyboard/singer arrangement. This is where the amp gets into trouble though, there is NO REVERB! This is not a problem for modern electeronic keys typically but for vocals this renders the amp useless. The second problem is that if you want to run the outputs over to a PA system, THERE AREN'T XLR OUTPUTS. Only 1/4 inch outs, which makes long cable runs potentially noisy, another bit miss. If you want these features, by all means upgrade to the KC-600 which is also more power and twice the weight. I like the amp but was very disappointed by these misses, I wouldn't buy this again for these reasons ,but for just a practice amp it sounds very good ... show more
