    • Everything works, air commands, writes smooth as butter
The media could not be loaded. I see a lot of negative reviews about this s pen pro.... but most of the negatives are coming from user error. This pen has no lag input. I'm using the Galaxy S23 ultra, I got this pen because I am 6'3" and my fingers are big lol. The little stylus that came with the s23 ultra works great but feels like a toothpick in my fingers. I had to go into my s pen settings and first had to allow other s pens to connect. The pro pen did work on the screen, but did not allow the pro pen to use the air commands. I hit the connect button and did not see a blinking light on the pen or a pop up notification on my phone to connect the pen fully. Then plugged it in to the charger to see if the led light worked and it did. It also would blink red, green, and blue if you hit the connect button while it is plugged in, but no connection notification still. To connect to use air commands, there is a SEARCH FOR S PEN PRO setting that needs to be enabled. Once this was done, it found the pen, connected, and allowed full use of the pen! By the way.... This pen works while plugged in!! Get it registered in the smart things app to find s pen pro when lost as well. No complaints with the tip so for, I am very careful not to push hard with any other styluses or with the original pen that came with my s23 ultra, I feel that it will last a while because of this learned habit. The pen is very long and feels great to hold in my opinion, and gives it good flexibility using the sketchbook app and other writing/sketching apps. Get this pen if you know you won't break the tip easy, it's worth it if you have the extra money *Check in - November 3rd....... First time I've had to charge this pen since I've received it on the 13th of October. I use this pen everyday and I am very satisfied with it. For some reason, it won't just reconnect though upon standing by after it disconnects, I'll restart my s23 ultra and when it turns back on it sends a notification that the spen pro is not connected. Once I tap on that notification it will allow me to hit any button on the Spen pro to reconnect. There might be a different way to access this connecting process without restarting but I have not found this out yet 😆. Either way, I have no problems with this pen. Still no lag input, flows like melted butter. Air commands, ✔️. Tip still intact (because I am aware of the pressure I'm putting on it) so I don't need to blame Samsung for such a so called "horrible" product,✔️.     • Excellent on the S7 Tablet, Not So Much on the Z Fold 3
The S Pen over all is very comfortable and I love the size. It is comfortable to use all day and has the feel of a regular pen, It is smooth and responsive for the most part. It works excellent on my Samsung S7 Tablet, better than other pens. The S Pen Pro and the S7 Tablet just seem to be made for one another. But I originally bought it for my Z Fold and it was just a bonus that it would work on other Samsung products. On the right side of the phone it doesn't want to write and I have to hold the pen a certain way that is not comfortable for me. I have to have it straight up and down, not at a normal angle. The tip is not accurate when selecting items or when having to check boxes. It;s sluggish on air commands and has a bit of a lag when writing. The tip has scratched the screen protector on both my tablet and phone, which makes me concerned for what it will do on the screen with out protection over time. I think there should be a better tip selection like Microsoft has on their pens. I ended up buying the pen made for the Z Fold 3 and it works a lot better, although I like the bigger size of the S Pen Pro. For the price, I think it is way over priced. Samsung should have stayed with the S Pens of the past as they worked great and were budget friendly. For the price we have to pay for the phones, I think the pens should be included and stop trying to compete with other companies in the pen department. Don't try to fix what isn't broken. There was nothing wrong with this product - except it was too long to carry with my Z fold.4. I purchased a wallet that has a slot for the stylus and had to order the stylus for the Z fold 4 that was much shorter. So if considering buying to carry around please consider this is very long.     • Nib keeps breaking inside the pen
I got this pen for my Samsung book 2 360 because they are supposed to be compatible, but out of the 4 s pens I've tried, I was never able to connect the pen to the laptop. Whatever, it is still accurate when drawing, I just can't change the settings. My biggest problem has been that while I am using the pen, the nib will break off from the stem, leaving it stuck inside the pen. At this point, there isn't anything I can do to take it out, and it basically renders the pen useless. I have tried many different ways of getting it out, but in the end I have to get on an hour-long call with Samsung customer care to get it replaced. Thankfully, they have been helpful, But I still don't understand why the nibs they are providing are such low quality. After all, they are the reason I am rating this pen so low. I've been drawing with these types of pens for years, and I have never had this problem with any of the other brands I have tried, so I know it's not that I am putting unreasonable amounts of pressure. So far, this same problem has occurred to 2 of my S pen pros, hoping that it doesn't happen to the next replacement. If you are using these for digital drawing and really trying to get the best out of the pen, I suggest switching the nib regularly (though there aren't any nibs sold by Samsung for the replacements, so you only get 3 and the one already in the pen). Im currently searching for alternatives that will be compatible with my laptop because it's just not worth it. ... show more
