While the ring worked I loved it. Had it 10 days and it quit charging. Said it was hot and disconnected from phone. Notification says put on charger and when it cools down it will reconnect. While it does reconnect, it gets to hot immediately and gives same notification. While on charger it wouldn't charge either. Tried resetting per troubleshooting recommendations and it doesn't fix it. So conclusion is I got a faulty one. Wanted a replacement, but Amazon would only do a refund and then I have to repurchase it, but at a higher price. Contact support and they say to go through Samsung and they will just send me a replacement, NOPE. Have to send ring in for warranty which will be 5 to 7 business days not including shipping, per reps repeatedly telling me is company policy. Amazon and Samsung need to work on their communication and Samsung needs to work on product quality. It's absurd that a product that fails after 9 days is not replaced faster and easier than this. I think this product is over priced (by $100), but it works well. I have it security locked down so it doesn't share data with Samsung's website and I'm on a differrent Android phone instead of a Galaxy, so a couple of features aren't available to me, but it does a good job of tracking steps, pulse, skin temp and sleep. I also like that it is smart enough to keep recording if it loses bluetooth connectivity and sync's up when it regains it, so I can sleep without BT on. It's light, charges fast and is water proof. I bought gold because I thought it looked better, but I'm waiting to see if it wears off. ... show more
