The sound profile of these which are tuned by AKG is very, very good as long as the fit is solid. I changed out the stock tips for SpinFit tips. The fit is now excellent, exceeding the fit of my other buds by a wide margin. Now that the fit is excellent the sound is GREATLY improved. I now wear these more than any pair I own, including Sony W-1000X, Soundpeats H1, Soundpeats Truengine, and TaoTronics ANC buds. All have their place but the Samsung buds have risen to the top of my faves, based on fit and the incredible difference that a superior fit has on the sonic qualities. Technically the Sonys sound best but the fit and comfort of Samsung buds approach the sound of the Sonys. Also, remember....I bout the Galaxy buds as refurbed ($69-tax) and the Sonys were $100 more! ... show more

    • These are great buds! Except the fit wasn't right for me.
I agree with everything "Nik" posted on 9\12. Sound was great. Phone calls were great; everything was crystal clear on the other end but people could hear traffic or loud ambient noises. Touch was a bit sensitive for me. Connections were seamless especially with the Samsung app. BUT they didn't stay in my ear. I was hoping to use these for exercise but even while simply cleaning around the house the left bud would come loose first and eventually the right. Perhaps these would be better for smaller ears, ear shapes. I ended up returning and buying Jaybird Vista to fit my enormous ears that match my enormous head. ... show more

I don't think the replacement eartips or wingtips were OEM but they were close enough that it didn't matter. On my first day trying them out, I made sure everything was fully charged and brought it to the gym and office. Easily made it 10 hours and could've gone for more. Quality is great through Samsung phones (using the Samsung Codec). Quality is good through conventional SBC codec when using it with the laptop. Amazing for. I stopped using airpods because they fall out so easily on me but these fit amazing and the sound quality is great. Cancels all noise so perfect for studying.

After watching so many raving reviews on YouTube, I bought these +. They failed my personal latency test: Watching Paganini Caprice No. 5 on YouTube. The audio latency is about the same as original Galaxy buds, either on PC, iPad, or on S10. On Zoom meeting/FaceTime/Google Duo, also obvious lag if fast movements involved.
