The phone arrived earlier than expected. It was great condition. After turning it on and allowing it to upload and then connect to my old phone, there was an update so I updated it. After the phone turned back on it wanted to update it again. After charging it that night it wanted to update it again but I just dismissed it. The product came well packed and was in perfect condition. I have no complaints that the seller was responsible for. I wasn't happy with the phone's speed, coming from a Pixel 6a. I'm a bit of a power user and need a snappy phone. This would be fine for someone who uses their phone slower. When I close an app I need it closed now. When I go to settings I need it opened now, not in 1.5 seconds. The camera seemed fine. The Macro lens was cool. Fingerprint reader was okay, not 100% reliable and neither was the facial recognition. Even when facial recognition works perfectly, it'll take you 3-5 seconds to unlock your phone which is way too slow for me. Fingerprint reader unlock takes 1-5 seconds I'd say. ... show more

The Galaxy A16 is an incredible phone by itself; Samsung has always delivered on their budget line on that front for me, and being able to buy a refurbished, excellent condition one with the carrier I have has been very convenient. I really appreciate the seller with their listing in that regard; however, the only issue is that there is a burn on the screen that was not disclosed. I don't really have an issue with it since there are some fixes, and it's hardly noticeable unless it's just the fight conditions, but it was a shame that I received a burnt-in screen. This is an extremly honest review from a person who is extremly tech savvy. Product: Samsung Galaxy A16 5G(Black) Refurbished. This phone is only for tech savvy people. It arrived with a corrupted system. The corruption prevented samsung updates which are not only important for performance but also your device security. Luckily with the right direction this issue can be solved in about an hour with a PC. The phone is unlocked. Some reviews say that the phone is locked this might be due to the corrupted system that came pre installed. Again if you are tech savvy you may be able to remove the corrupted system and install the official version. If your phone is still locked it is possible that the phone was NEVER unlocked but it is eligible for unlocking. I would check if your device has an official unlocking app if not you will need to contact the carrier that is locked to the phone. If you are still unable to unlock the phone to use with any carrier. You will need to return it. This was not the issue in my case. I am using US mobile and their Verizon network. The phone supports NFC, Face unlock, and fingerprint unlock. However your lock screen will not support finger or face unlock. In my case again this is ok. However if that is a deal breaker for you. Return the product. The phone is slow. It is NOT fast. You will not be able to play games. You will not be able to multitask effectively. You will notice lag and performance issues. Again this is not a problem for me. However if it is a problem for you their are things you can do to massively improve your devices speed. Which in my case is what I did. I can comfortable do things on my phone. The batter life is decent. However you will always want to have a charge or portable charger. The camera quality is extremly good for my case. You do not get any advanced features and your photos will not really match what you look like in the mirrior. The security of the phone is extremly great and I am most pleased with that. Overall I really love the phone. I think it is great for my use case. I highly recommend for tech savvy people and anyone just wanting a good phone to use for basic tasks. I gave a 2 star review because the product arrived deffective and would not be suitable for the common buyer. I give 5 stars for any tech savvy person who wants a challenge. ... show more
