Good day! I’m very happy with this Samsung Galaxy A16 5G. It was easy to set up and has been working exactly as I expected. The phone feels well made, looks sleek, and has a really nice display. This is not the latest Samsung phone, but I bought it mainly for Android software development and testing, so I was looking for something responsive with good network connectivity, Wi-Fi, eSIM support, and a high-quality display. This phone meets those needs very well. The AMOLED screen is one of my favorite things about the phone. It is bright, clear, and makes it easy to work with apps and test different screen layouts. The phone is also responsive, and I like that there are settings that let me adjust how quickly it responds to touches and other actions. The camera is decent for everyday use, and the expandable storage is another nice feature. There are also a lot of settings and features that I’m still discovering. For my particular needs, this phone has been a great choice and a good value for the money. The phone arrived working, although it was extremely slow. I decided to overlook that because of the price. Unfortunately, the bigger problem came later when the screen suddenly went completely black and never came back on. The phone was still functioning because an alarm that had already been set continued going off even though I could not see or use the screen. I eventually had to let the battery completely die. I charged it again, but the screen still would not come back on. I tried the troubleshooting and reset steps I found online, but nothing worked. I then contacted the seller for help. Instead of addressing the specific problem, they kept sending me the same generic troubleshooting information I had already found online myself. The biggest concern was that the phone was unlocked and still had emails and other personal information on it. Since the screen was completely black, I could not see or access the phone to properly factory reset it myself. I repeatedly explained this to the seller, but I continued receiving generic responses about returning the phone and having it reset after they received it. What made this even more frustrating was that some of their responses were referring to Apple products, even though this is a Samsung phone. It felt like my messages were not actually being read and that I was simply receiving generic responses. At one point, I asked if they could simply replace the phone, since the one I received was completely unusable and the black screen prevented me from doing anything with it. Instead, I continued receiving generic information rather than an actual solution. Eventually, I gave up. I feel like I wasted my money on this purchase. Pay attention to the 3.7 rating—there's a reason for it. Make sure you read the one-star reviews before purchasing. ... show more

I had absolutely no problems with this renewed cellphone including: transferring data from my Samsung Galaxy A15 5G to it, installing and setting up a Tello SIM card and SD card in it, adjusting and enabling settings for both the phone and apps I installed in it, pairing Bluetooth earbuds to it, and general use and functioning of it. The end of life for this cellphone is in late 2030, another big plus. It has the same high quality as my two previous Samsung Galaxy phones...couldn't be happier with this one. ... show more

My 15 year old daughters phone broke, so i ordered this phone specifically in the light gray color that she wanted. A standard black came. I proceeded to return it but she decided to keep it as she was antsy to get service as she was already without a phone for 3 weeks as we got caught in the switchover from us cellular to t mobile. It was hard to just get into a store! So because of unlucky timing we decided to keep it and deal with it. But it appears to have been unlocked as promised, i was able to figure out how to transfer over all of her stuff. So because it appears to be good quality and ready to go, i give it 4 stars so that anyone else buying will know my experience that way. But we are angry that it was not the phone that we ordered and listed on our invoice as light gray, so i could not give a full tbumbs up. ... show more

The product came well packed and was in perfect condition. I have no complaints that the seller was responsible for. I wasn't happy with the phone's speed, coming from a Pixel 6a. I'm a bit of a power user and need a snappy phone. This would be fine for someone who uses their phone slower. When I close an app I need it closed now. When I go to settings I need it opened now, not in 1.5 seconds. The camera seemed fine. The Macro lens was cool. Fingerprint reader was okay, not 100% reliable and neither was the facial recognition. Even when facial recognition works perfectly, it'll take you 3-5 seconds to unlock your phone which is way too slow for me. Fingerprint reader unlock takes 1-5 seconds I'd say. ... show more
