    • Refreshing SIM Data/One-Time Passcodes

No issues, other than -- a notification repeatedly and randomly shows as "Refreshing SIM Data." (I had inserted my old phone's SIM to this one.) And while this doesn't seem to impact anything, the only consistent timing of that notification is when trying to text yourself a OTP. So like if your trying to log in to any account of yours, and it wants to send a One-Time Passcode to your phone, the notification will appear, and those codes will not be received. If they are received, it be a day or two late. So, you'll have to get codes sent to your email or something instead. Other than that -- phone is great! T-Mobile only. Seller has good response times for any questions. Is personable and has great return policy if needed. ... show more

If I review this as a phone, it would show disappointment because few networks in the USA are compatible. One I found so far is Mint Mobile, but I did it wrong and chose the esim option and this phone doesn't have that. Despite this setback. I will keep this device because the truth is that being a phone is secondary to me. I might at a later date look for other networks or request help from Mint. Anyway, I find that phones have robust operating systems and make excellent tablets and gaming devices. My review is now as a tablet. It's quite good for research, email, streaming, and gaming, and this is a nice portable size for travel and checking information on the go. Before you say that a phone can do all this, my review is for the few of you out there who don't require a phone if you already have one or simply don't want one, and wonder how well a phone can do when used as a tablet. I gave it 4 stars because setup was complicated by the need to navigate away from setting up a Samsung account when my preference is a Google account, and the Samsung account setup didn't work well.
