I have had it just a year and it has shot flames from the electrical area several times when we have popped popcorn. Now it has a hole on the interior wall on right-side with definite fire damage. I kept it spotless .Calling Ssmsung to see if they will replace it. Otherwise it has been fine. Just a fire hazard now. Not using it!! ... show more

This Samsung microwave is far bigger, and heavier, than I ever expected. It dominates my kitchen. I was looking for a larger volume microwave and this one at 1.9 cubic feet fit the bill, but did not expect the overall size to be so much, i.e., exterior size and weight. I love the fact that the inside was enameled ceramic, it was bigger than I thought but ok. The downside, it made a loud noise every time you started it. It would last 5-10 seconds and then get quieter. Is way louder than any microwave I ever owed. Sadly, I had to return it.

The black and stainless finish looks good and is easy to keep clean. The interior wipes down easily and the glass plate that sits on the carousel can be removed for cleaning if needed.
