The performance is amazing, the screen displays great, it is lightweight, and the battery lasts for like 12 hours of continuous use. Granted, the functionality is somewhat limited if you want more than a browser interface, but there's so much you can do with just the Google suite of tools. I have been using this Chromebook for a few weeks now, and, so far, it is more than living up to expectations. I am online all the time and this laptop is performing like a champ! Google Workspace is awesome. Video streaming is flawless. I purchased this Chromebook refurbished but it looks and performs like new! And Google will continue to update the browser until 2026! Five years of support, awesome hardware, portability, plus very good battery life for $129? It was a no brainer! If the hardware holds up, this will probably be one of the best purchases I have ever made. Update: This Chromebook continues to be more than I expected! It was a gift and my aunt loved it ! She’s a teacher in the Philippines and as she travels 30 minutes one way she now appreciates the lightness. A few weeks before not knowing my aunt had a bike accident and with her she had her heavy laptop, after the accident the laptop didn’t work properly. My wife went to the Philippines to visit and we decided to buy our aunt this Samsung Chromebook, without knowing she desperately needed one. Well she absolutely loves it and everything about it. I myself might not be able to say anything about the device specifically but I know it made a wonderful gift and indeed was so meant to be. This is my second Chromebook. The automatic transfer of apps, bookmarks was flawless. I view this product as disposable, since updates have a relatively limited time span. I miss the touchscreen feature on my first Chromebook, but this unit was 1/2 the price. I can deal with a couple of extra keystroke combinations for that much savings. The speaker sound isn't the best, but a bluetooth speaker takes care of that. Battery life seems good so far. Keyboard has a solid feel to it, equivalent to my laptop. This is smaller than my previous Chromebook, but I think it will be great for traveling and it will still do the job as I do a lot of documents and typing. I haven't used it yet for any continuous length of time so I can't comment on the battery life. It was effortless to get it going and it synced all my data from my previous Chromebook so I don't have to redo all my bookmarks or anything like that. My dissatisfaction with this Chromebook has more to do with my uninformed expectations than it does with any shortcomings in the actual product. I was looking for a better tablet, something with a real keyboard that I could do my writing on. Problem is, I didn't appreciate that a Chromebook isn't really a standalone device, it's just a glorified web browser in laptop form. Sure, as long as I'm in Wi-Fi range of a public access point I can use Google Docs, but I wanted something I could use at the park or while out on the road. I also wanted to run LibreOffice, which you can't do on Chromebook, because, again, it's just a glorified web browser. As to the actual device, I found the screen to be less than ideal. My Fire tablet has a much better screen; the Samsung screen comes off looking a bit blurry in comparison. The screen is not touch-sensitive, which didn't bother me, but the touchpad for cursor control doesn't have mouse buttons, and I had issues with the button-click emulation. I did like the overall design -- simple and to the point. Overall, though, this isn't going to work for me; I'll see if someone in the family can use it. The next time I have the money, I'll look at either a low-end laptop or an Android device. I can only give this three stars. ... show more
