  • Expensive, but worth it. Get it before the Tarriff's hit.
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV Only
I don't know where to begin on this. My old 50" QLED was showing it's age and starting to fail; even though it really wasn't all that old. So, figured I'd upgrade before the Tariff's hit. So glad I did. 55" is absolutely perfect for my bedroom. It's large, but not too large. It pairs very well with my old Samsung 9.1.4 sound bar. The display is bright and crisp. It's breathtaking at first. It does work well with all my devices, Xbox, Roku, DVD, and HDMI Switch to manage it all. The solar rechargeable remote is an interesting idea, but I don't let a lot of light in my bedroom. I'm still not a fan of these mini-remotes. I do not like having to set up an account with Samsung just to set up my TV. I don't use their ad loaded home screen and find it rather intrusive. Luckily, my Harmony remote still works and can be programmed. I skip all that. As I said the display is crystal clear and sharp. The colors are bright and vibrant and the blacks are near total black. I have not noticed any artifacts, ghosts, dead pixels, streaks, blooming, or bleeding. It seems fast and quite responsive. The TV itself is not exactly mount friendly. A standard VESA mount will work with it. However, the placement of the power port is extremely poor. Back of the tv, right behind the rail for the wall mount. Make sure you attach the cord before the mount and hanging it. The one connect box is now gone. I miss it. But, I only have 1 HDMI cable going into the tv, the rest of my HDMI connections are handled by my HDMI switch. At least the input and output connections are easier to access, I still don't like having to plug them in once the tv is hung on the wall. While it works very well with my older sound bar, it does require that you have it hooked up to eARC. I've had issues with power timing of devices in the past, but it seems to work well on this model. This is the first time I absolutely needed to hook it up to eARC. 4K content on Netflix, Prime, Max, Hulu, and Xbox looks incredible on this screen. Infact, I was playing some Assassin's Creed Shadows before it was delivered and then again today and the picture is much more vibrant and full of rich detail that I did not notice before. I did get a bit of a discount on the 55" flavor, but not as much as the 50" would have gotten. I don't regret my choice though. ... show more

  • Great TV with lots of options!
Size: 50-Inch Style: TV Only
Great TV. Purchased the Samsung as it was one of only a few that allowed for the Directv app to be downloaded without having to use another device (such as firestick, etc). We've had excellent experiences with Samsung products and this is no exception. Pictures are clear, clean and bright. Sound is good too. Like the option to have the volume turned up automatically whent here is a lot of noise in the same room. Remove is pretty typical as far as they go. We are new to streaming and this seems to be an easy transition for us ol' folks! ;-) ... show more

  • Great TV with a lot of nice features.
Size: 75-Inch Style: TV Only
I've had this TV for a few weeks now. I had a Samsung 70" previously and wanted a newer 70" TV; however, Samsung doesn't make a 70" anymore (and almost nobody else does either) so I decided to get the 75" and prayed I could get it to fit in my studio apartment. I was able to fit it in using a swivel stand and I love it. The picture is awesome and its features make good use of my higher end Samsung soundbar so I'm now getting full use of it too. ... show more

  • Worth the money
Size: 85-Inch Style: TV Only
Impressed with the picture quality and functions. It's a big TV I suggest having at least 2 people help install it has a tendency to flex until it's on the wall.

  • Video 4 Sound 5 menu not great remote volume annoying
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV Only
Our first 4k TV. We've had it 9 days as of this review. It's the 55 inch model. Unboxing was fairly straight forward. Based on how the box is designed to tear down the sides, I don't think it could be reused in the event of a return. But it sure made getting the screen out easier than past tvs we've purchased. Rating 5. Attaching the base was easy, but the base comes in two parts. The base cover came attached so it took me some time to figure out how to take it apart to get to the screw holes that align with the back of the TV. I didn't want break the plastic. I may have missed something in the instructions, but I didn't see any. Rating 4. Sound: For a TV, I think the sound is great. I have a cheap 5.1 set of speakers using the optical port, but my old 5.1 system doesn't allow me to change the volume using the remote. So I only use it in certain videos I know are 5.1. So the standard TV sound was a pleasant surprise. Rating 5. Remote: It's small. The most frustrating aspect is the volume button is a 3 way toggle switch. It's so FRUSTRATING to use. Pressing is volume up. Pressing down is volume down. Easy, right? But pressing the button down into the remote invokes MUTE. Trying to change the volume without accidentally muting the sound is very difficult. There is plenty of room on the remote for a separate Cc and mute button. BUT I was pleasantly surprised it can charged using a usb-c port. No more battery nonsense. Rating 3. Menu: Frankly, while the menu can be figured out after some time, I rate it a 2. I'm not going to take the time to elaborate. A buyer should watch videos comparing menu systems unless you plan to use a 3rd party device like Fire TV, Roku, or a game system. Video: the first thing we did, was make a lot of changes to video settings. I was anxious to play my 4k and even 8k videos from my phone on it, as well as my image files from my drone, Canon 7D camera, and my phone. I was extremely disappointed and started to feel sick about my purchase. But I enabled AI and things were much better. I can't handle the soap opera effect and anything less than 4k looks like crap. I decided to reset the video, set it to the Film Maker mode. For us, 95% of what we watch looks great. If we really want the best quality and if the content supports it, we'll probably reenable the AI settings. We're very happy now and like we have enough settings to use to match the content. Rating 4. My overall Rating is 4 because the video and sound outweighs the scrappy remote and menu which can be replaced by 3rd party solutions. ... show more
