Absolutely incredible image. Blows my 1000 nit MSI OLED monitor out of the water. The first package I received had me thinking this may be a scam at first, because they sent me an HDMI cable with a note on the box saying the TV would be delivered at a later date, but the TV was delivered at the date they said it would be. Only complaints about the TV are that the One Connect Box, although advertised as HDMI 2.1, is not the full 48Gbps that HDMI 2.1 requires, its 40Gbps. But with Display Stream Compression enabled you'd never go over this limit anyways. Another major downside, the Ethernet port on the OCB is 100/10, which means it's limited to only 100Mbps, essentially making Ethernet pointless. WiFi is faster than Ethernet is on this TV. If you're planning on getting this TV to do cloud gaming, then this would be a major downside, but luckily I have my own Gaming PC and console so I will never need to use cloud gaming on the TV. Still would be nice to get my full bandwidth while streaming on the Smart TV. And lastly, I have read nothing but horror stories about Tizen OS 8.0. My TV came shipped with Tizen 7.0, but it constantly asks me to update to One UI / Tizen 8.0. Samsung does not allow you to downgrade your OS on these TVs, so it's not worth the risk updating the firmware / OS. I'll be waiting for Tizen 9.0 before I update the firmware. And to address the other reviews that claim the audio quality on the TV is bad, the audio sounds great on mine, but would be accentuated nicely with a sound bar. One feature that I love on this TV, is that you can change the delay of your aftermarket audio. For example I have TOSLINK/optical Bose Cinemate surround sound speakers connected to the TV, and I can change the audio delay of the speakers so that they match up with the TVs speakers. Which was a major issue on all the previous TVs that I owned, because the Bose speakers and TV speakers would not be in sync with each other, which made this awful sounding reverb effect. Overall, TV image is a just absolutely mind blowing. I can't put into words how incredibly phenomenal the colors and overall image are. And it even has this Real Depth Enhancer feature that will up the contrast of images in the foreground which makes them look 3D. While there are some drawbacks to this TV, I got it for 40% off which is an incredible deal so I'm very satisfied with it. ... show more

***Pros*** 
Amazon package delivered with care by two reps. 1.2 cm (.47 inches) thin!!! No ads or bloatware out of the box!!! Did a version update w/ network connection, a factory reset and disconnected it for a clean interface. Immaculate and vibrant image after proper calibration and does not heat up the room. Colors temps and gamut show very well with awesome white balance. HDR10+ stands out. One Connect box form factor is slimmer and provides better Input flexibility. ***Cons*** One Connect Cable is shorter then previous models (12 ft) so plan ahead when mounting. Certified fiber optic HDMI 2.1 recommended which comes with a heavy price. Stock speakers distort with low frequencies (better off with home theatre amp or sound bar). The remote is made from recycled plastic and feels cheap. Good for sustainability but expected more this is dubbed a "flagship" product. Got a stuck / bright red pixel caused by a malfunction in the transistor which allows light through sub pixels. This requires “pixel refreshing” which takes an hour. ***UPDATE Jan 2024*** Random HDMI signal drops started occurring more frequently during regular media playback and device power up. I would have to power cycle sound bar and TV to resolve each time. Returned the 65" model and purchased an 77" S95CA with no immediate issues using the same cables. ... show more

Beautiful picture, thus the one star. TV Main board stopped working 22 months from purchase date - no warranty - $595 repair cost - could have been more. I have been trying to get it fixed for 2 weeks - repair people are good, but it took extra time for part to arrive and it did today - and the main board is defective - have been without the tv for 2 weeks and now can't get anyone on the phone - will likely take another week to repair if the part is correct - horrible customer service from Samsung - buy a Sony or other tv - service sucks and a TV that costs nearly $5K should not break in 22 months. Very, very disappointed - I also have another one that is smaller than the 77" one, but I am done with Samsung after this - they should be overnighting the part, but I can't get anyone to pick up the call - on permanent hold - they suck. Don't buy Samsung. they came to fix it for a third time - still not fixed - waiting one to two weeks inbetween each appointment - tv is on dining room floor for the last month - customer service offers absolutely no help - won't overnight anything - just tell us that they too would be upset - what a joke - don't buy Samsung - absolutely horrific ... show more

I figured out that a 77" TV was the biggest screen I could possibly fit in my Living room and the S95C series was getting rave reviews. I ordered it and the Amazon crew cheerfully installed it. I really like the central base: it fits on my media cabinet perfectly. The Q Symphony feature lets you run a Samsung Soundbar system in parallel with the TV's speakers and it sounds great. The picture is absolutely insane (in a good way) Fantastic contrast, excellent brightness, screen barely reflects (you won't notice unless the screen goes black). User interface takes getting used to and can frustrate until you get experience with it. Otherwise, I've streamed directly from the internet, done OTA TV, run game consoles, displayed my laptop via both Bluetooth and HDMI, and the Blu-ray player never looked better. For concert media I can optical audio out to my vintage audio receiver via an optical DAC. This TV has completed and surpassed my expectations. ... show more
