This TV is loaded with ads right on the home screen that are not removable. And it had preloaded apps that can not be removed and they keep reconfiguring themselves to override my apps that I've installed. Do not buy.

I agree with the first review. TV+ is a minus. It has programs that I would never watch and one cannot uninstall it. It is not a good tv. I am very dissapointed as we have another Samsung that we have had for years. Do not buy

Do not buy this Samsung. They hijack my TV to a TV+ feature. I have tried to delete it. Once they switch you on to the TV+ it's very difficult and frustrating to find your way out of it. I would send it back if I hadn't thrown away the packaging.

I'm surprised this thing didn't get better reviews. The negatives: The user interface is clunky and slow. It only has two HDMI inputs and an optical out for audio (no RCA's if you use older equipment.) Its interface and setup is a little too "smart" for its own good. The positives? None of that can distract from the picture quality and capability at its price- and it's a Samsung, they know how to make a decent TV. TV's are intended to be watched, not have their menus navigated all day. This one is enjoyable no matter what you're watching. I have a home audio system, but the speakers on this TV impressed me- I expected nothing short of tinny, underwhelming nose and was actually met with some rich mid-bass and crisp mid-highs. For two tiny full range speakers they are quite impressive. Picture is fantastic when playing games/movies on my PS4 Pro. Money well spent in my opinion.

After having read the one star reviews I was hopeful but expected the icons to be a problem. They were part of the set up, nothing more. Once I turn on the TV after going thru the set-up I didn't have any problem and it continues to this day. Though I have only had the TV for a short time, I am amazed at the detail. The only draw back is the sound. As a result and to bet all the different levels of sound, I run it thru my stereo. I have always bought Samsung TVs, and they seem to be getting better all the time. This TV's technology is two years old and it is why I'm pay such a low price for the TV, it suits me fine.

People in previous reviews complained about TV ads in the home menu, but all I saw was quick ways to access netflix content via the Home screen. They're not advertisements... I did have to change a few of the default color options, everything was too bright and washed out.

I had purchased an xbox one x, and in doing so i needed to pair it with a 4k hdr tv. With that in mind i was not willing to fork over $1k or more for a good quality tv. I stumbled upon this tv looked over the specifications and features, and decided that it was a good bargin. After setting up the tv, which was very quick and easy to do using a mobile app. I was unable to set the native 4k feature on the xbox because it stated that my tv was not capable of HDR. So after digging through the settings several times i found the settings to activate hdr. You would thinl that it would be in the picture tab, but it wasnt. Once i had that set up the tv worked great the picture is bright and clear high res games look fantastic, probably not as good as qled or oled but for under 500 bucks im happy. The only other thing that i do not like about this product is the remote. Although the tv is sleek thin and modern looking the remote seems old and outdated like the design was repurposed from a previous product. If it had a nicer remote and the HDR feat8was easier to find i would give this a 5 star. But over all im happy with the tv.

Awesome TV for the money! The picture is sharp and colors are vibrant. Was easy to set up since my receiver controls all my a/v toys. As for ads described by other reviewers, all I see when I turn on the set is a banner at the bottom of the screen that gives access to Netflix, Amazon prime, etc., and it disappears in a few seconds, or you can click “Exit” on the tv remote.
