  • Don't buy Vizeo
Size: 55 Inch Style: U8000H Series
This is replacing a 3 year old Vizeo. Never buy Vizeo, they're partnered with Walmart to track your every move for ads. The software isn't slow, it's inert. The boot up takes forever... Anyway, let's talk about this TV. Much better in every way. The picture is very sharp. They colors are insane. The software is... tolerable. I hate smart tvs. Just give me a screen and a place to plug in my Roku. This isn't bad, though. I bought a TCL smart TV before this and had to return it. Can you belive TCL still doesn't put blutooth in their tvs as standard in 2026? This has blutooth, it has every feature you expect to get from a mid tier tv. I'll put one complaint in just so you don't think I'm a bot, or something. In order to switch video inputs, you have to go to the home screen and select it there. Unlike every other TV ever where there's a button on the remote and you can just go from Roku to your xbox to whatever else. Otherwise, I highly recommend this TV ... show more

  • ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Picture Quality and Easy Setup!
Size: 55 Inch Style: U8000H Series
I couldn't be happier with this TV! The picture quality is crisp, bright, and vibrant, and the Crystal Processor 4K really makes everything look sharp. Colors are rich without looking overdone, and the Motion Xcelerator keeps fast-moving scenes smooth, whether I'm watching movies, sports, or playing games. Setup was quick and straightforward. The Samsung interface is easy to navigate, and having Alexa built in is a nice bonus for hands-free control. I also love the amount of free content available right out of the box—it gives you plenty to watch without needing another subscription. The TV has a sleek, modern design with a slim bezel that looks great in my living room. Overall, this is an outstanding value for the price. If you're looking for a beautiful 4K smart TV with excellent performance and user-friendly features, I highly recommend this one! ... show more

  • Nice TV, fantastic value, some limitations to be aware of
Size: 65 Inch Style: U8000H Series
The five stars is from my overall happiness with this purchase - not to suggest it's the best TV out there, because it isn't. But for the price? An absolute steal! Especially when factoring in the free delivery to my living room, unboxing, and removal of packaging. This is the second floor living room of a San Francisco duplex with a narrow staircase from the front door, and unboxing consisted of attaching the feet, putting it on my TV table, inspecting it for obvious damage or physical defects, plugging it in, turning it on, and making sure it works before leaving with the packaging materials and box. The UI is a little odd; there's a home button on the remote, but this is really a source selector. If nothing is selected after some period of time it simply returns to the currently selected source. A source can be one of the two HDMI inputs, a streaming service, or an OTA channel. It's relatively straightforward to navigate, if a little idiosyncratic in some ways. It has only two HDMI inputs. This may or may not be a dealbreaker; I have an Apple TV 4K attached to one and a Blu-Ray player to the other. It communicates with the Apple TV using the full HDMI CEC which is really nice. It just can't turn it on since it can't see it if it's off, but turning off the TV turns off the Apple TV as well. The remote navigates the Apple TV over HDMI, so only one remote is needed. The TV also controls a relatively inexpensive soundbar, connected on the HDMI ARC link, and uses eARC. This means it automatically powers it on/off, changes its volume, and mutes it using the TV remote. The picture settings are a little buried, and can either be source-specific or applied to all sources, although I could seemingly never get the latter to work. It can adjust brightness based on ambient light, which actually works really well. The brightness setting in this mode becomes relative to the ambient light, and is quite consistent. It took a bit of legwork to configure the picture settings to my liking - way down on their contrast and sharpness and turned off the various boosters and enhancer. The default look was a bit cartoonish. Visually it doesn't do well in really bright daylight; colors tend strongly to primaries (RGB), wash out slightly, and lose detail. Especially reds have a tendency to turn into solid large red areas without detail. Once ambient light dims it does a lot better, at lower brightnesses. For me, daytime use is mainly to watch NFL afternoon games, otherwise I don't watch much TV during the days, so not very limiting. In lower evening light, or a darkened room, it does very well; it's not going to best a Bravia or Aquos, but it does very well still, in absolute terms. Blacks are very black. I would say it's main shortcoming is the sparse app inventory. No HBO. No Paramount+. It does have Youtube TV, and regular Youtube. And Prime Video. No Steam Link. For the missing pieces I use the Apple TV 4K, plus apps like Zwift indoor cycling which is a lot more niche. It like to list all kinds of available content and comes with Samsung's on TV service. Most of that seems to be programming on VoD rather than live, plus of course classic movies and other timeless programming. The OTA reception with an inexpensive, flat wall mounted antenna is very good, but I live within a couple of miles of the tower, visible from the TV, so straight line of sight. 1080i ATSC-2 is fine; it should also support ATSC-3.0 with DRM, but encrypted, higher resolution, DMR protected broadcasts. One of our local stations uses that, but only for specific events, the rest of the time they do "open" ATSC-3.0. That works fine as well, but I haven't had an opportunity to receive a protected broadcast with it yet. The TV has no buttons and is entirely controlled through the remote. The remote it comes with doesn't not have a mic for voice control, so can't say anything about those. It has no RCA jacks, composite, or anything else; just two HDMI CEC inputs and an HDMI eARC port I use only for sound output. If you're a casual TV user like me, and can live with the limitations that come with the price point... I couldn't recommend it more strongly. ... show more

  • Quality
Size: 65 Inch Style: U8000H Series
The tv was easy to set up however I was not able to download direct tv app. The picture is good, with crisp colors. The worst part is the remote, very poor quality. This continues to be a problem with Samsung tvs.

  • Exceeded All My Expectations!
Size: 50 inches Style: U8000H Series
I couldn't be happier with this TV! Everything about it is outstanding. The picture quality is simply breathtaking, colors are incredibly vibrant, the details are razor-sharp, and the contrast makes every scene come to life. Watching movies feels so immersive that it honestly seems like you're inside the film. The software is another huge highlight. It's fast, smooth, and very intuitive to use. Apps open quickly, navigation is effortless, and everything works exactly as it should without any lag or frustration. The sound quality is also impressive, making the overall entertainment experience even better. Whether you're watching movies, sports, or playing games, this TV delivers excellent performance across the board. Overall, this is an amazing TV and one of the best purchases I've made. It offers fantastic picture quality, a great software experience, and premium performance in every aspect. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality smart TV. • So far so good
Size: 43 Inch Style: U8000H Series
I bought this tv for a bedroom. I have 2 other Samsung tvs that are 20 and 13 years old and still work great. It took awhile to get the TV up and running but it's working great. One downside is the remote. It's a pitiful little thing that is very slow to respond to anything. The Tizen os seems to be quite like Google in its layout. I bought a Roku streaming stick as that is the os we prefer. So the little remote isn't a big deal. For the money, as a basic bedroom TV, I would definitely recommend. ... show more

Size: 65 Inch Style: U8000H Series
So far so good! Very easy set up. You do not need a samsung account, you can bypass that. Also, I have a firestick so I didnt have to go through the hassle of typing in every username and password for every streaming service on the tv itself! Took less than 5 mins to set up, no issues with internet connection. The picture quality is great! At least compared to my old TV. The only thing is some apps have better sound than others but nothing a sound bar couldnt fix if it matters. Pretty good for the price! ... show more

  • Badly design remote with very basic TV, lower then usual Samsung quality.
Size: 65 Inch Style: U8000H Series
Basic TV with really absolutely inconvenient "stupidly simplified" remote. TV is not bad, just basic, picture quality is average, sound also good enough. It really appropriate for price range. Setting is also simple enough. Unfortunately it comes with really badly designed remote. This "modern" design is awful, in order to just change TV input , you have to go to menu , then setting, than find input and only then select HDMI 1 or 2 or 3. It is really annoying and takes a lot of time especially compare to one button selection in "old" version. Another "innovation" is changing volume, you need to pull , not press the button and it is really difficult with small tiny button and aging hands. So, I have to use old remote from old Samsung TV. One more thing, I connected local TV antenna to the TV input, but TV is not seeing antenna, just because it using Samsung TV through the WiFi. Summary of all those inconveniences comes only to 3 stars, cound not recommend it at all, badly done Samsung. ... show more
