    • Get a mic extender if you're using a mic like the Rode podmic
I brought this stand two years ago for the Blue yeti and it was absolutely perfect for the mic as the yeti is a really tall microphone. However, when I bought the rode podmic a year later this stand was too short for me to use the mic on properly until I bought a mic extender for 8 dollars that I screw onto the stand and put the mic on top of it this saved me from buying a new table stand for 20 dollars ... show more

The stand supports the weight of the mic just fine, and with its wide base I don't worry about accidentally knocking over my mic. The only complaint I have is that the top of the base which i think may be plastic feels a little wobbly, overall i'm satisfied with the purchase.

Happy tingles for any 3DIO mic owners! Here's the stand you need! So as many know, the 3DIO mics come with no stand, but this one? Perfect! Its nice and heavy so it can hold up the massive microphone no problem, and the thread size is exactly what's needed! Its also affordable! So after dropping 400$ on the mic, you don't have to cry at your bank account when purchasing the stand! One draw back I had is that you have to really *force* the base onto the pole part of the stand in order to screw it in, to the point that I worried it came stripped. I'll still rate it 5 stars since its a small complaint, but my husband had to strong arm the thing on. ... show more

Perfect fit for my Shure MV7 microphone. Height is perfect, price is still reasonable, material is excellent. Comes with a heavy metal wide base. My item appears to be scratched, maybe it was from a previous return but I didn't return it given I'll scratch it myself always.

This stand is just the right height to put a mic in front of my monitor for Zoom calls. It is low enough that it does not block my view of the monitor and it is out of the camera view of my webcam that is mounted on the top of the monitor. The base is stable to hold a heavy mic and the foam on the bottom lets me easily slide it aside if I need to use the desk area between my keyboard and the monitor.     • Its Good But Not amazing
The base is pretty good but its not a tight and solid as hoped. Still a great buy just not a 5 star. The Base and the post are not a perfect fit there is some movement and the threading of the post thru the base can be over threaded to make contact with the surface below.
