Unfortunately, we were rather disappointed with this bidet. Initially, we were excited to read that it had a temperature control function, but our excitement quickly faded when we read that the bidet would have to connect to the sink (rather than the commode water line), in order to use the warm water function. If you're living in an apartment, maybe this is a viable setup, but in a great number of modern single family houses, the toilet simply isn't parked right next to the sink. (Ours is in a room of it's own, within the bathroom) What's more, even if your sink is close enough, who wants to drill a hole through the cabinet to run the line? Not me. Now, even if you set the hot water line aside, the bidet still underwhelmed us. The fitting hardware is substandard, and after my (extremely talented and mechanically inclined) husband installed it, the bidet wobbled around. What should've been a 15 minute job, turned into allot longer, due to instructions and connecter issues. Once I realized what I was doing wrong, it went on in minutes, but it was a combo of user error and miscommunication with the instruction booklet. I always refer to Youtube videos if I can't figure something out the first few times. I did NOT hook this up to the hot water tab because I wouldnt've had to have drilled a hole through my cabinet and I didn't feel like doing that. The cold water connection was fine with me. All-in-all this was an easy installation and I love the way it works. You can adjust the stream and also has a nice feature to clean itself. I like this product and would recommend it for any future pandemics we have that make people go out and horde all the toilet paper off the shelves. ;) ... show more

With some careful hooking into both hot and cold lines, the Somadra bidet got added to my bar's toilet pretty easily. No electric, just basic spritz. Easily controlled, it works well! My daughter installed hers in an hour, no real plumbing experience, just following the steps. I spent more time undoing old seat bolts than hooking this up! Only in America is toilet paper such a waste of a necessity; when we had a fully electronic does-everything bidet in a fancy hotel, I was sold. Please note that this needs to be installed next to a sink. Overall, only OK. The water doesn't warm fast enough to provide a warm spray, so the water is always cold. It was easy enough to install by my husband, but still appears rather cheap and isn't very solid. We'll be uninstalling this in lieu of a better made product. Very underwhelmed. ... show more

It's easy enough to install. It's not really compatible with newer style removable toilet seats. But if you want to make it work with one, you're gonna need some really big washers. The temperature control is great and the spraying power isn't harsh. Neat accessory. Especially if you have hemorrhoids or something. Very soothing. ... show more
