The dowels are 7" long, and the distance between the dowels is 7-1/4", with a 3/4" diameter. The face pillow measures 10-1/2 wide x 10-1/2 high x 3 thick. The face opening measures 3-1/2 wide (stretching to 4) x 6 high.
  • Fully adjustable headrest: Perfect for positioning each client comfortably, the design is fully adjustable from flat to a 45-degree angle to properly support clients, prone or supine. A single lever locks the entire platform headrest into a firm, fixed position and provides height adjustments without extending away from the table.
  • Oil & water-proof: The entire pillow is draped in a luxurious PU synthetic leather, a highly durable, soft, and vegan-friendly material that is not only easy to clean but has no offensive smell like other synthetic materials. It is also oil and water-proof to resist stains.
  • Convenient & portable: Lightweight yet sturdy construction in a streamlined design makes for a quick setup, while folding flat for easy storage. Pillow removes easily from cradle with secure hook and loop self-fasteners.

It's not the worst head rest out there. I got a free table in school but needed a replacement headrest. This worked well, it just has limited adjustment ability. However, sturdy, doesn't stick, and for what you pay worth it. Got me through school, passed the table and headrest on to another student.

This ships in the original box which was very flimsy box that was crushed at one point. The cradle portion arrived with a broken support arm so i won't be able to use it at all. The cover on the pillow is nicely sewn with a medium weight faux leather fabric. The foam inside is fairly dense but pretty cheap so I imagine it would get packed down with prolonged use. ... show more
