Do NOT buy this chair. I’ve had it for only two months and the metal foot bar has completely become detached on one side. Now the chair is unsafe for my clients to sit in so I’ll have to pay to have this chair tossed. I’ve attached pictures to show how poorly made this chair is for the bar to become completely detached from the base. Of course I’m outside of the window for exchange or return. This says it's a barber chair, but I'm using it for my office. It's got a thick cushion and is very comfortable to sit back on, even when leaving really far. It's a solid chair and well built. Comes with several pieces to assemble and 2 tiny tools. You will need some tools of your own to assemble....and help. The chair is very stiff and uncomfortable and is very wide. It is also very tall. At 5'1" I am unable to do my clients hair without a stool and the width makes it impossible to reach them for color unless they scoot to the side I am working on. The reclining is nice. Mine also came with a large scuff on the side. Since I can't return it, I'll be selling and using my old chair :( ... show more
