This is amazing for concrete,so it help us when doing the layout of walls. It does last forever! I have come back to houses when it almost finished & the marks of windows and doors on floor still there. Pretty good stuff. We got the white version of this pen in order to mark some heavy duty trash cans. This pen worked great. It had/has the consistency of a thick lipstick. I was surprised and expected more of a felt pen kind of thing, but this is NOT a marker or felt tipped pen. The tip you see is entirely the writing tip. We had two large, heavy duty plastic trash cans that we fill with water for any fire emergencies - we used this pen to mark those and it worked great on both the barrel sides and the covers. One of the barrels was slightly textured and this pen worked great on that. The only downside is that the writing material does not retract and it did get used up fairly quickly, so be very careful about extending the writing tip. Only do it slightly, because you cannot retract it. All in all, we're very pleased. ... show more
