I got this for my 32" TV in the bedroom. I've been putting up with the TV speakers for years and wanted to do something, but couldn't see spending the money in anything decent.....it's just the bedroom. When this went on sale for prime day, I figured I'd give it a shot, especially with the good reviews it has. I have to say I'm impressed. It's not going to win any awards for fidelity, but I've been very happy with the sound and have zero regrets on this. Personally, I think it is worth it at the regular price. Keep in mind this is for a smaller room (15x15 probably). For that size, it is perfect! I got the subwoofer package. You'll want to note that the subwoofer is not powered. In this case, it is kind of a good thing. It means you can control the sub using a separate sub volume on the remote. For this use, I don't like I'm missing anything by not having a powered subwoofer. Also keep in mind that this means the "line out", which is actually the "sub out" is not line level. It would be at speaker level. I also don't know if there's a cross over in there, so I'd plan on just using that jack for the sub out. I ended up using an optical splitter to run from the TV to this device and a wireless headset and it worked great. There's no EQ on this thing other than the mode settings and the sub volume. You also can't control the volume with the TV remote. You have to use the separate remote. Again, for the price, I'm not complaining. ... show more

Even though it seems like most people would buy this only thinking of their T.V. I figured why not use it for my PC/LAPTOPS….. Boy I boy am I happy 😁 I act on that thought. In my setting I have things in the corner of the room, I have no clue if that plays a part in this being LOUD beyond my expectations. Day 1 I had to test the volume w/clarity. So far I am still amazed at how the audio quality(clarity) seemed to improve the louder I made it. That is no mean as if the audio was bad or fairly decent to start off. NOPE, starting off at low volume is already great. If it wasn't for the lack of...?… This would be the BEST Bluetooth Speaker I've ever had/used for my Gaming & Working(editing vids & audio) laptops. Ok, as I'm typing this I'm kind of tired typing. So I'll just get straight to my point before I just mess around and delete this review 😆. * 0% complaints in regards to clarity/quality on any increase or decrease in volume. * The more I turned it up the more I became worried about the chances of me receiving a noise complaint for the speaker piercing the walls over to my neighbor (apartment complex neighbors not home owner neighbors) * I only made to %58 - %62 volume increase before I felt the pressure to turn it down IMMEDIATELY. THE 1 CON/NEGATIVE/REGRET/UPSET…ETC…ETC. * THIS SPEAKER WILL FULFILL ALL YOUR NEEDS EXCEPT FOR IT BEING MOBILE/WIRELESS * IT MUST REMAIN PLUGGED IN TO WORK * THERE IS NO CHARGE BATTERY * SO THE SPEAKER MUST REMAIN STATIONARY * UNLESS THERE IS AN OUTLET NEAR BY…. I needed a small sound bar to boost the sound in my workout room. I use a 32" TV so I only needed a sound bar to match. I didn't need a 2 speaker system w/ a subwoofer. I needed something that's louder than the stock. This soundbar does just that. It's loud enough to be heard over any background noise without trying to drown out the background noise or competing with it. The sound is clear and crisp. It's small enough to be out of the way. Install and setup/connection is easy. The instructions are key to setting it up. I'm very happy with this purchase. It suits my needs perfectly. I don't know if (or how) it would be as a primary sound bar. For a small room set up (maybe for a kids playroom or workout room), it's a great low cost option. ... show more

I decided to get a new soundbar for a 65 inch flatscreen TV that we use mainly for XBox, Nintendo and some Apple TV gaming and watching. I knew I needed a soundbar that can be mounted underneath the TV on the wall and that I need to be able to use the optical output from the TV. From experience with the previous soundbar I knew that the optical cable doesn’t like it to get bent all to much … therefore I was looking for a connector coming out on the side, not at the back. I decided to get the 2-piece set with the subwoofer and I can report that everything was installed quickly, the optical cable does not get bent at all because it’s coming out on the side together with the cable to connect to the subwoofer that I decided to put on the floor. The end result is an astonishingly rich, clear sound and powerful bass. My wife asked me why I put this speaker on the TV in the game room, not on the one in our bedroom … will be happy to buy another one. ... show more

We were using some old JBL PC speakers for years and they finally died. I didn't want to spend a lot and for $33, I thought, let's try it. I used the Optical connection because, why not, and my TV auto-set the settings to match. They sound WAY better than my old JBL PC speakers. My wife noticed a few sounds on some TV shows that we are able to pickup now. The only con, no way to see your volume level but, other than that, these are pretty good. ... show more

For the price this is perfect! The speakers on my TV aren’t great and I live in an apartment so I didn’t need anything too big. This is perfect - it’s loud enough and very clear. The sound on this is really good for a regular household. It's way better than the speakers on pretty much any TV. It's got great base while maintaining good high range treble. It's even good for listening to music on. It's not going to vibrate pictures off the wall or glasses of the table. So if you're looking for ear bleeding base, this will disappoint. ... show more
