  • Great value
Size: 0.8mm/100g
I wanted some decent solder that would actually flow and melt at the temps I use and I can say this solder exceeded expectations. This melts extremely well and has good flow into joints and doesnt leave a dry joint. Great product.

  • works great with good tip
Size: 0.6mm/100g
Large pad, small pad, high heat, low heat, tinning, or whatever I'm doing, this solder flows well and leaves a great connection. I solder small FPV (drones) circuit boards often so good solder makes things easy, but bad solder makes things miserable. I haven't had a bad solder yet with this spool. Full disclosure, I also use a SainSmart soldering workstation set which holds everything securely. So my hands are free with this solder in my left hand, the solder gun in my right pre-tinned with a tiny bit of solder on the lower side, and rub around 350-400 C. The board and wire are securely held with zero movement. Iron's tip touches pad for 1/2 sec, solder from spool touches pad, flows right on, pull both back right away, and wait for cooling before moving anything else. Perfect every time. ... show more

  • This is my go-to.
Size: 0.8mm/100g
I really like this solder. It melts evenly and doesn't spatter all over the place. I have used at least three rolls so far and really prefer to use nothing else. I find that the 0.8 mm size is ideal for most small electronic projects.

  • Good enough, could use more flux
Size: 0.6mm/100g
Doesn't seem to ever have quite enough flux to get the job done. It's a good diameter for most electronics work, I just have trouble getting it to bond sometimes without adding flux.

  • This is great wire for the price
Size: 0.6mm/100g
It's great soldering wire for the price , a diamond in the rough as far as cheaper soldering wire goes. Solders easily and neatly, doesn't clump up like other cheaper soldering wire does.

  • Good solder, great price.
Size: 0.6mm/100g
I am using this for electronics repair. First use left me impressed with the good quality of this The melting point is good, the flow is good and the adherence is good. I have not done any mechanical testing on joints but I expect it is fine. I used it to repair a broken game cartridge last night and it worked. This solder did not seem to melt or flow at a noticeably different rate from what Nintendo originally used. ... show more

  • Quality
Size: 0.8mm/100g
This is the best solder I have used for surface mount. A little dab of flux and my Weller set at 625-650 degress and it flows smoothly. Remember a little goes a long way with surface mount components and dont forget to use a good quality flux. I bought solder of Ebay and it was crap. Jeff Kd4lyh
