I don’t do too much solder repair, but I’ve learned that you need the proper tools and equipment to perform the job adequately, whether that be a new or repaired solder joint. Keep in mind, the only repairs I work on are mostly car related, for example, when capacitors or resistors go bad. This flux works well in those applications, simply brush a little on, and it helps clean and create a good solder joint.

SRA soldering paste is the best I've ever used. It facilitates wetting multi-stranded wire when pre-tinning the soldering connection. It also provides better adhesion, without increasing soldering iron temperature. Great job SRA and great product.

It works , help solder component to circuit board. Small size which is good easy to pack. Still need to use alcohol to clean the soldered area if you need to make sure it looks really nice. For the price it's good.

The quantity of this product is amazing for the price. You only need a very small amount to get most jobs done, so this will last me quite a while. This is so easy to use and works fast. It’s not too thick and not too thin rather just right. I used this product to help me clean the ends of a tape measure I sanded for my ham radio tape measure antenna. This enabled me to solder the cable wires to the tape measure with ease. The joint bonded much stronger with the use of this flux. I highly recommend this for both those new to soldering and seasoned soldering experts.

This is probably the best flux paste I've used. I've been an electronics technician for almost 50 years and I have not found a better paste flux for tinning tips and wires. I had to repair the wiring on my lift chair hand control which required tinning several wires. Just a tiny amount made the iron tip clean and let the solder flow smoothly. I had worked for OEM and contract manufacturers that never had this grade of paste. Don't buy the cheap stuff. If you do, you will probably use twice as much with questionable results. Spend a little more for this, you'll be glad you did.
