This flux makes soldering easy. I’m not sure if you’re supposed to heat it up but it’s the only way I was able to spread it. I did enjoy how well it stays put when it dries though. Good stuff.

If you solder, you need this flux. It works great on soldering. It allows the solder to work its way into the piece you're soldering, providing a solid solder. The top can sometimes be hard to get off but then again it seems to pop off at times when caring around. It's easy to clean up as well.

I went years without ever using flux. Solder only, with frequent tip cleaning in the wire rat's nest or on the sponge. I guess that was good experience to have. Character building and all that. But now that I've used the flux, I'm never going back. This made it possible for me to repair a ribbon cable in my laptop, which I thought was going to be impossible, and now here we are. A $9 jar of flux and some time with the soldering iron saved me when I couldn't find an appropriate replacement ribbon cable from Lenovo. Well worth the money. ... show more
