I needed an adjustable stand-up desk because I get terrible sciatica when I sit for very long on an upright chair. I liked the looks of this one better than others, though none are a gorgeous piece of furniture. I had to move it from the place I intended to use it to another room, and that's the beauty of something so portable. I only has 3 choices of levels. There are 5 clicks but two don't lock in place, so I don't know if it's defective or if that is how it's supposed to be, but the lack of the perfect level made it not work for me on my kitchen desk. Thus the reason for moving it. It works great where I have it now. It's the right size for my laptop and the phone slot is nice. I also like the design that allows me to keep my binder or references underneath it. Even at its lowest setting, there is room for them to stay there. The adjustment is smooth -- very easy to lift and lower it. I like that it is manual and doesn't need to be plugged in like my last fancy one. It's strong and stable. I'm very happy with it.

Excellent small stand for my laptop. I am 5’10” and this desk lifts so that I can look straight ahead while standing at meetings. The next setting down is perfect for working standing up. So far very sturdy. I did need to buy a small mouse pad since there isn’t space for a full one.

Amazing add-on to convert my standard desk into a standing desk. When compressed all the way down, it acts as a heightened shield/stand that is used while I sit - which alleviates stress on my neck. absolutely love it, the only thing that would make it better is more surface area or space on the top. wish it was slightly larger and could more easily accommodate larger laptops and other minor accessories

Worked very well for me! Be aware that the top surface is very small. I can use a 14 in MBP, leaving a small space on both sizes. However, this computer stand is very well made, sturdy, and lightweight. I did not expect how often I use it. If you need a small table, easy to move around, for temporary use around the house, you may want to consider this product.

I want to brag on this. I had an injury and couldn’t sit for two long. I was looking for a sturdy accessory to my desk where I could stand and work. This is sturdy and I can work. If there is something I wish it had was that the whole base would tilt. When you sit the base is about 6” above the desk level. But when standing it is great. Even has room for phone and mouse.

I tried a few stands and this one is definitely the best! It’s very sturdy and doesn’t feel like it’s gonna fall apart when you extend it or when you fold it.

while it is nice to have this adjustable desk riser for the time when I would like to stand, I must say it is heavy. So when I would like to lift it onto or off of my desk it is a bit of an undertaking.
