The media could not be loaded. Bought this to replace the cheap flimsy factory latch on our 5th wheel screen door. The factory one barely latched and the door would pop open by itself, just wasn’t very secure. This latch feels very durable and good quality. We weren’t able to use the preexisting holes from the factory latch so we had to make new ones but for a secure door it was worth it. there’s also a hole now where the factory latch fit into the slid cover but no biggie, we’ll just replace it with a piece of plexiglass. Now I don’t have to worry about the dog getting out or it popping open on the kids. 10/10 would recommend

The OEM plastic latch body on my screen door has broken and been glued several times. I finally got tired of fixing it and bought this one. The body is aluminum and looks like it will never break. It also is very nicely finished. Definitely worth the cost premium over the plastic options. The package includes screws, and new striker plate, and keeper. The screws are larger in diameter than the original screws, so I did not use them. Did not use the remaining parts either because the originals seem adequate, but they also appear to be of better quality than the originals. When ordering, note that the terms 'right' and 'left' refer to which side of the door is hinged, not the location of the handle, so the 'Right Handle' model goes on the left edge of the door and vice versa.
