The boot is made of very beautiful leather it a deep reddish color with great stitching and very solid and resistant but flexible soles. The inside is very comfortable and supportive. I could see wearing these all day either working or hiking. I haven't worn them in water so I don't know how waterproof they are but they do tie very snuggly around my skinny ankles! A huge value for your money and I would rank them with Timberlands which cost triple at least. Do they even make those anymore? Great boots. ... show more

I was skeptical due to the price, honestly, I've been wearing them for a week now. They are super comfortable and fit really well. The construction quality it's top tier. I just didn't want to spend 100 plus dollars on boots again for them to last about a year. These boots are extremely nice and I honestly don't want to ruin them at work haha. This boot was way beyond my expectations. For a full leather exterior and a comfortable insole it amazes me that I only paid $70. I've been wearing these boots almost everyday now and they still look amazing, have that leather smell, and still are very comfortable. I have wide feet and these still fit perfectly, despite not offering wide variants. I have walked through mud, rain, dirt, and sand, but they still look perfectly fine and have some natural patina that makes them look even better. The leather itself is clearly not the most expensive, as from new it showed some weathering and natural defects of both the cow and the tanning process, but it is still thick enough to provide plenty of protection. The one thing I have negatively to say about it is the "slip resistance" is a flat out lie. The shoes are some of the most slippery soles I have ever owned, any amount of water and especially oil on tile or concrete floors will cause you to loose all traction. My use case is mostly on asphalt, dirt, and sand so it was not much of an issue but I would avoid this shoe if slip resistance matters to you. ... show more

Not a bad boot. Last pair i bought on amazon (differnt brand) the soles wore out smooth in about 2-3 weeks of use. These ones have a better sole material that should last, plenty of grip, and are comfortable and pretty rugged for the price. i got the waterproof version, and so far my feet have been dry. Probably will buy an extra pair or two for backups in case the listing goes down or the product changes in the future. id say these are a good buy. Only reason i didnt give 5 stars is they are still pretty new so only time will tell how they hold up. but so far they seem like they will last long enough to get my money's worth and thensome. ... show more

Love this boot! Bought for yard work but they look so nice that thought has changed. Quality is beautiful especially considering the price. I would recommend. They fit well no need to break in. I have a wide foot, no problems lots of room.

Very comfortable. I work in field sampling and testing asphalt, concrete, soils and aggregates which really put stress on boots. These are holding up nice. I highly recommend these boots

I am surprised to see the amount of reviews praising these boots. Perhaps I am being hyper critical because I typically by boots made in USA vs China, where the quality of the build is significantly better and reason price is 4x more. Honestly, I found the overall finishes to be lacking. Found them to be cheaply made for my taste, so I wound up returning them Immediately. On the positive note, I do have to admit that the leather used on the upper was surprisingly supple, which explains why most found them to be comfortable right out of the box and not needing a break in period. The price, you can’t beat! I am just too hard on my shoes so I doubt they’d last much past a year for me. I couldn’t get past the cheesy synthetic pleather piece of fabric they sewed onto the tongue. As silly as it sounds, that was the tipping point that compelled me to return them right away (along with everything else). I would have ordinarily given these qualities a review of 1 or 2 stars, however, considering the number of raving reviews from others, combined with the fact that I chose not to keep them, I don’t believe it would have been fair of me to give them anything less than 3 stars. Last note, I found the toe box to be a bit larger than usual, although if someone has a wider than normal foot (but not quite a EE or EEE), I believe you will find this boot to be a perfect fit. A little snug fit at first but once broken in they fit nicely, the material is nice and soft. The durability isn’t too great. I’ve bought 2 in the past few months. These are great for work & ship resistant.
