It works...ok-ish. I will say that the description is misleading in that the stakes are not steel, they are plastic. The bottom 5-6 inches at the tip have a HOLLOW metal core (someone described it as like an old school extendable antenna) that helps keep things firm while you tap in the stakes. The problem is that the stakes are very much prone to bending or completely snapping off just above the steel tube if there is minimal force applied. I tried using this to section off a couple of areas of my yard from the dogs while I grew new grass seed, but the dogs made pretty short work of it once they decided that they really wanted to be on the other side of the fence, resulting in many bent and snapped stakes. I was able to salvage what wasn't destroyed to surround my raised vegetable garden, and that works much better. I also found that the enclosed wire ties are not the best at holding the fence material to the stakes, no matter how much I tried to tighten them. Ultimately I gave up on them and used a bunch of tiny zip ties, and those held in place extremely well. I will say that the textures on the stakes are a nice touch that does help make the zip ties a plausible solution. I would not buy this kit again based on these experiences.

I use this as a leaf collector, but cut it to half height. I think in full height these posts would not work. Keeps all the neighbors tree leaves out of my yard! I had 25 bags of leaves before I did this… after: 3.

Nothing fancy. Good quality safety fencing with plenty of stakes. Keeps my chickens in the right area of the yard when they are free-ranging. I bought zip ties to hold fencing on stakes and to attach stakes to supports in some places.

This is priced comparably to others, but it is less than half as sturdy. The stakes are slightly shorter and only half the diameter of other brands (also the fencing itself has holes 2.5 times wider than others causing it so be possibly weaker, though this isn't the issue I personally had). My dog simply put his head against the fencing and bent 3 of the stakes. So, I tried bending one myself. I have lupus, and therefore weak hands, and I was able to bend them bare handed. I'm not impressed and will have to either find a way to completely reinforce this fencing or buy a completely new new STURDIER set from a different company.
