I’ve had this nonslip sticker mat installed for a few weeks now and it works perfectly! I found it very easy to install. Great traction! Looks good to me. My tub is porcelain on cast iron and the glaze is very worn so the mat stuck very nicely.

When you first see this, you think it won't work at all for giving traction on the bottom of the tub; it seems so ineffective since the texture is not dramatic. But, Boy! It's surprising! I ordered it for my extremely fragile and unstable 89-year-old mother, and it was just the ticket for giving her secure footing. And on top of the excellent traction it gives, it never gets moldy, does not harbor slime, can be sterilized over and over if that's what you want, never needs to be taken up and hung to dry, and after three years of use, it looks as good as the day I first installed it. And as for that, read and follow the directions exactly, and it is easier to put down than you will think. It stays put, never has curling edges or anything like that. Also, if the bottom of your tub is looking tired, this'll make it look like new again. I'll never use any other type of tub mat, that's for sure. Really great.

Chances are you're looking at other solutions with suction cups. I've researched... They crack, they're bumpy on your feet, and they get mildew. This has none of those problems. I was worried it would feel rough on my backside if I take a bath... Nope, very comfortable, but it provides just enough traction that I'll never slip and fall. It looks like the tub came with it, since my tub is white. Three tips: 1) Make sure you clean the surface very thoroughly. I suggest cleaning, rinsing and drying the surface very thoroughly, but ALSO (unlike me) using some rubbing alcohol with elbow grease and letting it dry before install. Leave no fuzz, dust or even the slightest hint of soap scum underneath. 2) Initially I installed with air bubbles under it. You can poke the bubbles with a needle and squeegee them out through the hole. The tiny hole doesn't show because of the texture. You can do this while the tub has a few inches of water so you can see the bubbles rise. 3) After install, heat it up with a heat gun, then press or squeegee down even harder and let it cool. This adhesive is kind of thick, and the heat makes it acts like hot glue, sticking even better.

It's by far the best anti slip thing you can put in your bathtub. I've research these thoroughly. It's easy to apply, it doesn't move, sticks really well and after several months does not show any signs of mold and is still firmly stuck to the bath tub. I did clean the tub with alcohol before applying this. The texture is perfect, it not too much which is really stops you from slipping even when it's covered in soap or conditioner. My only complaint, and the reason why I removed a star, is that it's fairly ugly. The white doesn't match the white of my tub, so it's clearly visible. White textured stuff on a different white just look awful. I really wish they would make these in different colors/prints. I'd take anything over this white. Since you can't hide it, make it fun! Please! I would buy again though, it is way superior to the small fun stickers that one can buy for children. Having one big piece that stays in place is much more important than looks. But it could be both if they decided to add some prints to it. I also have to add that it's easy to clean and 8 months later it still looks like new.

I like that it is white and it hides the discolored areas of my bathtub. It gives a good grip for your feet but do be careful if it gets soapy as it becomes quite slippery. I'm more concerned about falling in the shower now than I was before I got it. I'm a senior and it was a bit of a challenge for me to apply it without a lot of bubbles but I used a pin to pop the bubbles and work the air out as others have suggested. Someone more limber than me (aka younger) would likely not have an issue applying this to their tub.

I bought this sheet of textured sticky vinyl to apply to my son's Montessori toddler high chair. He kept slipping and falling off it when climbing up or while monkeying around during meals. I didn't want to have to force him to sit still or not climb around ... the point of the chair is to allow him independence to move, to seat himself, to not be strapped in. And this sheet really works well for the job! Making a paper template of the boards and cutting out the stencil shapes with a box knife and sharp scissors was a real pain in the ass and some delicate work. It's thicker and harder to cut than paper and the glue tends to gum up blades. But the results are better than I expected and look wonderful. I thought I'd have some issue with some of the smaller pieces peeling off. But even after he's been picking at it and spilling food/water on it, it cleans up great with just a wet washcloth and not even the tiny little stars decorating the rocket have come off. I only used about half of the roll on this project. The rest I'll use to replace the suction pad mat in his bath tub. We have this now: Bathtub Suction Mat Large Non Slip Rubber Comfort 36 x 17 Inches Grip Luxury White Foam Hot Tub Spa Bathing Rubber Pad Shower Bathing Bathroom Essentials Showering by MakExpress which doesn't stay stuck very well and tends to get covered in an awful pink film so I have to rinse it in bleach. Instead of cutting out the shapes by hand, I'm going to try using my mom's Cricut Explore over Christmas when we visit. We'll see if I can get some cute custom shapes more easily than hand cutting.
