This product is like any insurance policy you have it but you don't want to use it. It small enough to keep it around you. I have not decided if to use the adhesive or to clip it somewhere in my car but I'm glad this one has a loop to hang not all of them do. I test it with the piece of glass provided and it worked well. The blade for the belt cutter is sharp and well cover the cap. Again I hope I never have to use it.

The media could not be loaded. This a good product to stow in your car in case of emergencies. As shown in the video, the hammer works as described on a piece of glass (or at least on the piece of glass provided). It’s small enough to easily fit in your pocket, or you can use the little stand to stick it to your dashboard or somewhere else on the car. The other side has a knife to cut through a seatbelt. Unfortunately, the caps aren’t designed well: theres a tiny rubber band that keeps the cap on. If it pops off, like it did in the video, the cap won’t stay on. It took some finagling to get it to work again. Since this isn’t an item you would use every day, it’s not a huge deal, but I would just be careful when taking the caps on and off so you don’t lose them. I will say, it was a little harder to use than I expected. It took several tries to figure out how to use it correctly. But I assume in an actual emergency, I would have enough adrenaline to use the force necessary to break glass. Overall, I’m glad I have this product on hand in case of emergency!

My review started at a full five stars: Convenient size, light in weight, handy mounting bracket, hanging loop, even a thick piece of glass included in the package for practice. So I tried breaking the enclosed glass and it worked! Huzzah! But I couldn't get the cap to stay on after that. It looked like a tiny gasket on the cap end came loose and needed to be reattached. Then I found a second gasket on the floor which apparently was meant to hold the cap on the seatbelt cutting end. So keeping the end caps on the tool will be a problem. The glass breaking part was great. The tool breaking part - not so much.

Basic window breaker with seat belt cutter, made in aluminum, can be used as keychain but it is a tad big for that will last for a lifetime.
