I ordered this because I had plans to have a yard sale in the near future and wanted to have something a little better than just using cash in my pocket or a cigar box to hold the money. And being able to lock it up was an added bonus. This box works perfectly for that or to maybe hold and retain medication. It’s nothing like a safe but will keep things together and not just laying out. I love the included tray as well. The box is well made, and the lock is solid. Like I said it’s not a full-fledged rock solid safe, but it not advertised as one either. It is a great cash box for convenience of keeping money together for small events. And to top it off, you are provided a nice lock that will give you a little added security. It is as advertised and maybe just a little bit better than advertised. I am happy with my choice and definitely recommend it if you are needing to do just that.

Most of the reviews on this page are for a different product (the cashbox). *This "safe" has mounting holes in the bottom and back, exposing the interior of the box through metal about the thickness of the cardboard of a bakery box. How is this fireproof or waterproof (or secure)? *The "user manual" is a single sheet of paper that does not identify the maker or the product, nor claim that the product is fireproof or waterproof. UPDATE: *I'm bumping this up to 3 stars because my partner thinks that if we mount the box to something then it will be fireproof and waterproof. I'm going to buy a fireproof/waterproof pouch for our documents because I don't. *The instructions do not identify the size of the four 1.5v batteries that are required if you want to use a code to open (presumably AA). Note: batteries are not required if you want to use a key (two provided). *The access to the keyhole is a cover which slides off, without any kind of catch to keep it attached, so be careful that you don't lose it (or not).

I was looking for a cashbox for my small non-profit when we do events. Mostly we had big bulky cash boxes that were kind of a pain to deal with. This cash box is small and compact, but definitely fits our needs. It is not bulky at all. The coin compartments are easy to use, and I like that they are sloped so it is easier to get the coins out. My only complaint is that is does not seem to latch on its own. I do wish it latched somehow instead of just opening or closing, so you have to lock it to pick it up by the handle and carry it. But it is easy enough to lock and carry. Overall this is a very nice cash box, simple and compact!

We are holding our 50th High School Reunion and need a small cash box to take in cash at the door so I ordered a portable lock safe box approximately 7.87"x 6.30"x 3.54" with 5 coin slots from Bioaeyok for less than $7. The box comes with with a Key Lock and removable Coin Tray. It is shiney black metal with a handle on top. The dollar bills go under the coin tray. I will use this cash box at my next garage sale instead of a large envelope and egg carton. If you are looking for a cash box, you can hardly beat the value or cost of $7. I like it and is worth 5 stars to me.

This is a great little metal cash storage box for a vending booth, farmer's/flea market, food truck, yard sale, etc. It has a lock and is a lot sturdier and more secure than the usual zipper bag or plastic pencil box many of us use in those situations. I love mine and it worked really well for the conference booth I just managed last week.
