The quality on this rug is amazing. I ordered the white one. It looks white in the seller's picture, but it's really more of an oatmeal color, the best I can describe it. It has a thick pile and looks almost carpet-quality. It's the best quality rug I've ever bought. It is a bigger rug too. It's 100% wool. I attached some pictures: front, back, close up of the content/care tag (sorry it's upside down,) and a close up so you could see the colors better. ... show more

I am a big fan of Safavieh products, but I was very disappointed with this rug. First of all, when I unrolled the rug from the packaging, it was so full of lint and small particles of dust that I had to sweep it off right away. Both ends curled significantly, so I placed some heavy books at the corners and in the middle for several days and that took care of most of that problem. My great frustration is the shedding; it's so bad that the fibers stick to your shoes and you find them all over the house. I bought this rug for in front of my kitchen sink and paid the price for a handmade, wool one to avoid this very problem because of the traffic of the kitchen area. The shedding began almost immediately and the only reason I did not return it was because of the hassle of returning during the Covid-19 situation this Christmas season. I am not sure that I'll be able to use this rug for another Christmas time. This has been my first negative experience with Safavieh and I hope that it's my last! ... show more
