I bought an 12'x18' rug and a 5'3" x 7'6" rug. The pattern is not straight on either rug, so if you are OCD about those kind of things, save yourself some irritation and buy another rug. The larger the rug, the more the pattern is off/more noticeable it is. It is really hard to get it straight and line up furniture on them when the pattern is so crooked. I think it's intentional, meant to look rustic and worn, but it just looks poorly made instead. Going to keep them as the wavy lines are mostly covered by furniture, but if they weren't, they would go back. Super soft and fluffy. Very bright red with some pink and light blue bits. (See photo.) In the photos on Amazon, the red seems a bit darker. ... show more

Bought another version of these Hamadan rugs in 9x 12 size for family room (in taupe, also 5 stars), and liked it so much I bought this second 8x 10 rug for the living room. I think these are great rugs for the price, though obviously not โ€˜authenticโ€™ oriental rugs, and so far they stand up well to my cats. Easy to clean, vacuum, and the cats nails do not catch in the rug unlike several previous rugs. There was no odor to either rug upon arrival. They are nice, weighty, plush-feeling rugs that donโ€™t need a pad. I have used some stick-on gripper pads to keep the corners flat on the wooden floor beneath, but no problems with creasing or curling of edges. ... show more

The design on the edges is a little wonky. I wouldn't want this rug in a prominent location. Mine lives at the bottom of my back stairway so is seen only by family. The rug though is nice and thick; doesn't bunch up. I wouldn't call it soft, but it feels nice on bare feet. No anti-slip backing so it will move about....a rug mat underneath takes care of that issue. Good value. I like it enough that I bought another in a different size. ... show more

This is a nice rug for the price. The downside is that the pattern and color look different in person than it did online. It looks like a low resolution version of what is in the picture.
