Unlike everyone else, I bought the light blue/black, 2.7x5, to cover a worn looking area on my berber carpet. It’s in a room with 4 other area rugs, none of them match, but are similar in style, they all look great together, and work well with my eclectic decor. The rug came neatly rolled in thick, protective plastic, and flattened out fast, with a few heavy books on the corners overnight - and the books probably weren’t even necessary. No chemical odor that I could detect. It is surprisingly PLUSH compared to some other area rugs I have by the same manufacturer. Feels great to walk on! I have it in a high traffic area, so that will be a true test to see how it holds up long term. Since I have it over my wall to wall carpet, it stays put, with no need for a pad underneath. It feels very cozy underfoot. My cat has been laying on it since I put it down! The description says “light” blue, but I wouldn’t call it light. The color is a little deeper/darker in person, compared to the online photos, but I’m happy with it. I was worried it would be more of a true blue, or too pale of a blue, but it isn’t. It’s a warm grayish blue, with a touch of green. Maybe you could call it a muted peacock blue, or Prussian blue, or the blue green color of the ocean in the North Atlantic, as you are getting close to land. Mine does NOT have those patches of fake distressing, which I’m very happy about. The design/pattern is perfect, some reviews said their design was uneven, edges wider on one side or something like that….the design on mine is fine. Will anyone be fooled into thinking it’s a real Persian rug? Hell no - but it’s really soft and really pretty. I could see it working in a lot of different decors. Next time I’m in need for a larger area rug, I would definitely consider this Safavieh Vintage Hamadan. Being so thick, plush, and cozy, it would be a great rug for a living room or bedroom. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a beautiful, soft, affordable rug!

I've had this rug for over a year now and it still looks as good as it did the first day! If you have pets, fur WILL easily show in the darker areas, which is expected. However it's very easy to vacuum. If you're thinking of buying-- Just get it!!

For the price, I was not expecting much. However, this rug is surprisingly thick and feels great under foot. Unlike many rugs I saw here, this was rolled, not folded. That factor more than the price attracted me to this rug. I laid the rug out in the sun on the driveway and it was totally flat in a few hours. The rug comes with a warning about the smell. It is well warranted as it does have a foul odor. I sprayed it with some Zero Odor when I laid it out in the sun. A few hours later it had an odor I could live with. By the next day, it was totally fine. I would purchase this rug again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful runner. Bought this rug to help my aging dog from slipping on the tile floor. I have many traditional oriental rugs and this runner fits right in. Appears to be well made. It is soft and has a nice thickness to it. A good buy for the money.
