The color of the rug lightens and darkens from different angles. I would say it's true to the picture shown. I have a pad underneath so it feels nice and comfortable. Wasn't difficult to unfold and put in place. Folds relaxed out nicely. Cirners lat flat. It was heavy, 65 pounds, but hubby and I managed it. It's a nice thickness and is soft underfoot. A bit of a musty smell at first, but some Febreeze helped that.

Excellent quality carpet. Soft under feet. Expensive but worth it. Not much smell because we just had hardwood floors refinished. I expected it to come in a roll, it didn’t! They folded it then packaged it. I wasn’t happy about that. It has taken 3 days to get some of the wrinkles out. Still not flat, but better. Have ordered a runner and another carpet in 8x10 for dining room. Colors are inconsistent- looks faded at one end and darker on the other end. Very nice though in our large room. ... show more

This is a great rug! As you read other reviews, you will find some which focus on the edges not being even, but that is a very small thing. The pile for the rug is plush and the rug feels great under bare feet! The color pattern and color variation are lovely. I am pleased by my purchase of this rug, and it looks great in my office. Due to the way in which the rug was shipped, I unfolded and rolled out the rug, allowing it a day and a half to fully flatten. Since then, I have not had any problem with folds or bumps. The rug lies flat and its weight makes it safe on which to walk. I am pleased by the backing of the rug. There are no unnatural foams, plastics, or other substances which would eventually stick to the floor. The woven back and the substantial weight make it a safe option for wood floors. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and I highly recommend this rug. ... show more

I’m very picky, as I know Quality even when I’m looking for Value! I purchased for a home game room with our full sized pool table. Beverages spill…this is synthetic fiber so it’s perfect. I want good color…. This meets that standard. I decided for hard wear, I needed a thick dense Persian and because there will be people having fun whilst eating and drinking….. I needed Price and a price that will give me relief when I see party food splat on it without giving me a heart attack as I realize I’ll probably need to replace it sooner. And to top it all off the pool table sits on the big rug without puckers and waves. The 22 foot runner exports guests down the long hallway to games and laughter without being a typical curled uneven long runner. These rugs are a treasure! With this trust in quality…. I am off to shop a pure wool hand made 20foot X 13 footer for another room. I’ll let you know how that goes. ... show more
