You honestly need this rug- I’ve had it for over a month now. It has stayed clean and beautiful through the holidays, family pets and kids. When a spot was made it was easily cleaned. It is super soft, not very thick but nothing 10 dollars worth of carpet padding from mernards won’t fix and now it’s perfect for my baby to crawl. It’s not pure white which is perfect before it won’t look dingy the second someone even looks at it with a pair of shoes on like pure white rugs do lol. The rug shipped quickly and looks as described in the listing. It’s a neutral off white color with a subtle Navajo style pattern in a grey color. I ordered an 8ftx10ft and it fits well and looks great in the space! My only issues are that it had a pungent almost greasy odor that took quite a while to fade (the smell is still there if you put your nose to the rug). There are also some very deep creases that won’t fully “relax” out, despite my multiple attempts at steaming the rug in those spots. The creases did significantly flatten when I steamed it, but wouldn’t fully come out, and having to sit and do that for a couple of hours was pretty annoying. I hope they will eventually flatten with time. Other than that, the style and size of the rug are what I wanted and I like how it looks in the room. I got the rug on sale, so I think it’s a good size and quality for what we paid. We don’t use that space a ton, so we will see how long it stays nice and bright and holds up to use. ... show more

This rug came at a great price. I didn’t notice any odd smells as some reviews indicated. It was also easy to flatten out. I can’t give 5 stars because there are some random colored threads here and there throughout. I don’t care for that. It’s not super noticeable unless you’re close but I don’t like that it’s there. I’m so disappointed with this rug! I love Safavieh and that’s the only brand of rugs I use in my home but this purchase was a bad one. The pattern is great but the rug is horrible! It’s thin and the material is uncomfortable to walk on. We’ve tried everything we can think of and it won’t lay flat. I almost returned it before opening it and decided to give it a try since they haven’t let me down before but I deeply regret the decision. This might be my first bad Safavieh purchase. ... show more

I was hesitant initially because I wasn’t sure how the entire look of the room would be but I love this rug! It ties in the living room perfectly. It’s a nice subtle design/color so you aren’t overly committed to a specific color scheme - very neutral and the options are endless. I have this rug pulling together a dark leather brown sofa, marigold, ocean blue, white and gray... I was looking for a thinner rug to go on hardwood floors... I have now had this rug for a couple of weeks, and it has not disappointed one bit. I bought it to put under my kids' play couch. When looking for a rug for this purpose I knew it had to be soft yet durable, and so far it has been both. When we first received it there was no odd smell like you get with some other rugs. I unrolled it on my own, no problem. The corners were curled for a few days, but they eventually laid flat over time. I have now vacuumed it a few times with a deep cleaning vacuum, and have had no problems with snags or frayed piece. If you're looking for an area rug that is pretty and soft yet durable, this is the one. And it's at a great price point, too! ... show more

The quality is acceptable and it is soft-ish but I really wanted to be able to see the design of the print more clearly for purposes of my boho and moroccan theme in living room. Unfortunately the print is so light you can't really make out anything except whispers of light gray-ish colors and the veryyy faint design. Additionally, I purposely ordered the ivory/gray because I did not want the ivory/light gray option. To me, it looks like the ivory/light gray (and almost light/dusty blue) but that could be just my eye. The ivory brightens up the room but again, there is no discernible design to tie into my theme and you have to really stare a while to see that it's not just one of those burnout style rugs which I don't care for. I will keep it to avoid the hassle of a return and hopefully I find something more on-theme to replace it later. There are also a few kinks I hope flatten out over time but they are not unacceptable nor excessive. For the price, it's a satisfactory purchase for a 5x7 tier. ... show more
