I had A brand new jute rug but it was difficult to vacuum and when walking in barefoot in spots it wasn’t comfy. This rug is so comfy, medium pile and so luxe and neutral with my decor. Love it!!

I've bought several Safavieh rugs and never once has the purchase failed to be a good one. Good quality, good value, and never a problem. Lays flat quickly with little to no curling, colors as expected. Thin but I knew that and it's what I wanted for the in-kitchen dining area. Machine washable rugs are okay but not what you want under a dining table. Attached photos show rug flat except for a little bit of curling at corners 30 minutes after being unpackaged. It looks amazing in my space, I was a bit skeptical from some of the review pictures and was not sure if would meet my expectations but the color looks great! Its more plush than I imaged it would be, overall pleasantly surprised. My dog approves too lol

Not sure if I’m going to keep this rug or not. It seems good quality for the price because the pile is very dense and feels soft but the color isn’t quite right for my space. Buying rugs online is so difficult and in some of the customer supplied photos the rug looked like what I was hoping for but sadly, it’s lighter in color and the pattern is not very pronounced. This rug is advertised as beige and cream. It is not. The so called 'beige' is far closer to gray than beige. In fact it is a 'taupe that looks NOTHING like the picture at the top of the page or those posted by other reviewers. And it gets worse. As the photographs show the "beige" is darker in some areas and lighter in others. It is even quite patchy in places making it look, as another reviewer mentioned, like it needs a good cleaning. All in all a cheap looking rug with a bad dye job. Incidentally, after looking through reviews of other Safavieh rugs i realize the color problem seems to be a fairly common one. Several people have complained that the so called beige or brown sections are actually gray. In fact, it seems that Safavieh's beige is actually taupe in virtually all cases. I guess some one in the company cannot distinguish colors very well - they need to alter their dyes or their descriptions. So I am unfortunately forced to return this area rug which I had high hopes for because I already have a large and very lovely Safavieh rug (the Florida Shag Collection SG454) in my living room. Luckily it is all white so no color issues - the higher and lower pile form the pattern. (I would have bought the same rug in the smaller size I need for my spare room but it is thick and I was afraid that it would have prevented the door from closing. Oh well! Matches my living room. Nice rug but nothing is worth the money charged these days. Every once in awhile I get a great deal. As far as the rug it’s holding up well and I do like it a lot. It’s kind of a neutral cream light brown rug so basically blends in with a dark brown room. I haven’t had it long enough to really comment on cleaning or anything else. ... show more

I was really hesitant to order this rug because of the bad reviews. In fact, I even cancelled my order at one point, but a few weeks later I placed an order again, and I’m so glad I did. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the rug. Packaging: excellent. It was rolled up tightly in thick plastic, and each end was protected by some cardboard. Size: I was worried this rug would be smaller than the size I ordered based on some reviews, but when I measured it, the rug was was 6’ x 9’3” which is actually 3 inches longer than I anticipated. Color: I’d say the rug is true to its color (dark grey/cream) based on the images provided by the vendor. Texture: it’s soft and it isn’t as thin as others have said. I thought I would need a rug pad, but the rug I received is heavy and is thick enough in my opinion, though that might be subjective. It’s also not flat, and the design is textured as shown in the pictures. I definitely recommend this rug and I think I’ll buy a bigger one for my living room! ... show more
