I was very surprised by the quality of this rug for the price. It arrived folded, which concerned me at first, but it quickly flattened out by the end of the day. I ordered the beige/cream, and it’s the perfect neutral rug. Its more of a taupe color, I can tell it’s not going to chow dirt, but the textured part is more of a champagne and it catches the light and brightens up the room. It’s honestly one of the most beautiful rugs I’ve seen. It’s also velvety soft. It’s pretty grippy on the bottom, but for $100 I got a 1/4 in. pad with rubber on the bottom just to make it extra luxurious feeling. So for $400 all together, I have an almost 12’ x 9’ rug (it is actually a few inches smaller, which is pretty much my only complaint), which feels and looks like a $1000 rug. The corner shows signs of potential fraying in the future, so I did put some fray check on there to reinforce it. In summary I highly recommend this rug for the price. ... show more

This rug is really beautiful but the threads are directional and when they lay a certain way they have a tan appearance on one side. It reminds me of those sequins pillows that when you swipe it, it changes color except when you do it to the rug it just looks dirty. I am constantly having to smooth it down so it has its white appearance again. I’m still happy with the rug but would drive me crazy if it was in a high traffic area because foot steps will disrupt the way it lays and again, it will appear super dirty when it’s not (it’s just the color of the rug) ... show more

Purchased a SAFAVIEH Reflection Collection 8' Square Beige/Cream Boho Tribal Distressed rug last week. We were impressed with the shipping time, which was a lot shorter than notified. While we like the material & model, we had the following issues with it: 1. Instead of 8x8, the rug is 71/2 x 71/2 feet instead! I would assume this would stand true for all their sizes, so all of you beware of the possibility that all their rugs are considerably smaller than advertised 2. On one side of the rug, approx. 6 inches from the edge, it has a defect. It has a line that runs from one side to the other. While it is not visible on the back side, the line is pretty visible on the front side. It is obvious that something happened during manufacturing and their quality control didn't care that much, so it let it pass 3. Last thing, on another side of the rug, both corners are elongated, which I believe it happened when it got packed/rolled for shipping. Tried different ways to make the "dog ears" go away but was not successful. They are pretty annoying so I end up laying the rug down with that side towards the back wall where hopefully is not as visible Bottom line? Even if the rug is on the expensive side, this is a nice rug and if it did not have the above issues, we would have been happy with it. Instead, we are considering returning it and go with another manufacturer. Hope this helps everybody else out there that are considering purchasing a SAFAVIEH rug. ... show more
