I’m honestly surprised I love this runner as much as I do. I bought it in “rust/multi” and that translates to a muted brown thread color. Looks great on hardwood flooring. I like that it’s colorful, but not too busy and this particular rug is made with fairly dark/muted colors of scrap fabric ;mine leans toward a lot of blues and pinks). It’s very soft to walk on, but slips around like crazy (which the cats enjoy but me not so much—I almost had an accident because of it) so make sure you use some sort of rug pad/tape to keep it in place and safe to walk on. Good price for a nice simple rug. At this price I’m not going to be upset when I have to replace it and it seems easy to wash… though I’ll definitely let it hang to dry UPDATE (7/27/23): I bought a new rug to replace the old one as the fabric strips came unraveled due to the cats’ efforts. If you have a sewing machine I HIGHLY recommend sewing a seam along the length of both sides of the rug to secure the fabric. But I love the rug soo much that here I am after a repurchase. ... show more

It is a nice rug, definitely worth the money I paid for it. It does smell, airing it outside in the sun on a dry day does help. Do not wash this in your washing machine if you have a top loader. It will shed and could possibly damage your washer. Overall, happy with the purchase and would buy another rug.
