I ended up going with the same company because it’s a natural material with no toxins but a little more durable because the back has a rubber type feel so it stays in place. The only downside is that it comes folded up in a tight (and heavy) package and I needed our muscly neighbor to help me pull it apart and lay it out. Also there are a few days we had to let it “rest” to get the folds out. But overall I’m pleased with it. (I went with the dark trim because the lighter gets dirty looking) ... show more

Very nice rug. This is being used in my indoor hallway. I wouldn’t recommend walking barefoot on it it’s not soft. It’s thick sometimes the threading from the sides has loose strings but you can easily cut that off. I use a thick under rug padding. The quality is great. It doesn’t get stained easily. We walk with shoes on it and we have a dog. However we don’t walk on it with wet shoes. As far as when it arrived it took a few for the carpets corners to flatten out nothing mayor. ... show more

I received the rug in plastic wrap. When taking it out of the packaging the rubber backing was stuck together. It was hard to pull apart. After finally getting it in place, the smell of the rug was terrible and hasn’t gotten better with time. I reached out to the company that makes the rug and they had no suggestions on how to get rid of the smell. I never write reviews but this rug is so bad, I would not buy. ... show more
