The media could not be loaded. I am really surprised at the quality. I paid $35 for this in the 3x5 size. It’s worth way more imo. I bought it for my entry way. I’m living in a rental and the quality of the “wood” flooring (actually crappy mdf or pressed cardboard, like theee worst flooring material you could imagine) in my house is awful. I bought a huge area rug for my living area to cover the crappy floor but I have two dogs, 3 kids and a construction working husband constantly in and out. I didn’t want my new beautiful rug to get destroyed, and trust me, if you could only see the amount of dirt they track into this house!! It’s insane! I needed something durable and able to trap dirt etc to stop it from getting tracked further into the house and onto to my beautiful new area rug. The first rug I bought for the entryway was beautiful.. at least on the Amazon listing. Big blue monstera leaves for the pattern, advertised as an entry rug, among all the other uses. I was really disappointed when I opened it. If you look at my Amazon profile, you’ll find the reviews of that rug (and of the new area rug) to see for yourself. The pattern was printed onto the top of what was a very flimsy, albeit soft, nonskid rug like something you would only use for staging or decor. That rug cost me over $40 3x5. I immediately went back on Amazon and ordered this. It came securely packaged in a roll, wrapped in plastic, taped, wrapped tightly in more plastic, and taped again. I was very happy to see how it was shipped because I’ve ordered rugs before that came shipped in a roll with no plastic protection, like literally just slapped the shipping label right on the rug. I unrolled it and the end was curled which is expected. I walked away to find something to find something heavy to set on it to help flatten it and by the time I came back it was completely flat lol. It is rough on the feet which is exactly what I was looking for to help trap the dirt. It doesn’t hurt and it isn’t unpleasant to be barefoot on. It is real natural material and extremely well made with a thick fabric material securely sewn on the outside border. I am so pleased with it that I ordered a second one and the same size so I can set one in front of the entry for my garage door where I keep the cats litter box. I have been looking for a litter box mat and realized this couldn’t be any more perfect for that purpose, and is literally lightyears better (and cheaper) than litter box mats of the same size. I am going to buy a third for right outside my front door too, and may buy a runner to go under patio furniture I have under the awning on the narrow walkway in front of my house. I got this for my large kitchen island and it has a soft backing so it does stay in place. It is a rug that you should be wearing slippers, or shoes as the surface is a little rough with a grass type but I love it. It looks great and fits my style. Just another great Safavieh rug. Pleasantly surprised how well made this runner is, especially with a nice backing you would see on high-end and more expensive rugs. The grey trim is as pictured.... Medium grey color. The weave is a basket weave, guess I didn't notice looking on-line, but very happy with the look. It's a bit scratchy if you walk on it barefooted. I have it in our laundry room that leads out to the garage. Very busy traffic area. I have had it a month with no signs of wear. And it's easy to vacuum. Especially with two white lab dogs. Only thing I noticed it slides a bit, so I will add some non slip rug tape on the corners since it's on tile floors. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This area rug definitely didn’t disappoint. I’ve purchased much more expensive jute and sisal rugs from local rug galleries so I was worried this wouldn’t be the same quality. But I did not need to worry. In fact, I prefer these over my much more expensive ones. They’re softer to the touch and much more comfortable to walk on. They’ve held up beautifully despite my golden retriever and little boy’s efforts to leave their mark. Any spills and accidents have cleaned up perfectly without any residual staining. LOVE this rug! Purchased 8’ round for our kitchen. Good quality. Comfortable on the feet despite some reviews saying the sisel material can feel scratchy.’ I did not find that to be an issue. I also purchased the 4’ round and 3 different size runners for our house. Love them all!! Would definitely recommend this rug for a clean and pretty look. Really happy I invested in them. Only drawback…not easy to clean.. Do NOT use cleaning products/chemicals on the rug. Only spot treat with water and dab to dry. Our dog got sick on the rug and it stained the rug. This sea grass runner is good enough quality for the price and looks almost identical to the P Barn one. It smells great and the sea grass is weaved nicely, only complaint is that the stitching on the border is crappy and if you get down on the floor and look the stitching is all wonky and some threads are loose.
