I've been buying wool rugs from this brand for years and loved them. If you aren't sure who to buy a rug from online: always opt for Safavieh, they have never let us down. We have 8 of their rugs in our house right now but over the years we've probably owned two dozen. They are inexpensive enough that we can replace them when we want to change colors or styles and they are nice enough that we can always find a buyer when we put the old one up for resale. But y'all. This one is the one! It is so soft and wonderful and it actually cost a little less than the last wool one I bought which was the Trace model. I had planned to get another Trace for a different bedroom in the house and they were out of the size I needed so I reluctantly got this one, and dang I wish I could replace all the rugs in all our bedrooms with a rug like this. It is so soft, feels so good on our feet, and the weave is nice and natural and consistent. I rarely leave reviews, but I had to for this rug. If you’re on the fence, get it. It looks even better than I thought it would. Changed the vibe of the room in a very positive way. It looks so nice, great quality. I’ve had it for about 2 weeks now and it does shed some, but it’s a wool rug so… not shocking. Just vacuum normally and you’re good. It’s also much softer than I thought it would be. Feels great under your feet and my picky texture kids are laying all over it. Love it. ... show more

I wanted a large rug for my living room. I found the perfect one at Pottery Barn, but it cost $3500 and it won’t be here for months. I ordered this from Amazon as a temporary measure for the holidays . But it arrived in 2 weeks, and is so close to what I ordered from PB (albeit not the exact 10x12’ size I’d hoped for) I’m going to cancel the other and keep this one! I absolutely love this rug ! It arrived very quickly , packaged well, and laid flat almost immediately. With that being said my rug has one small defect in one of the wool pieces not being secured and sticking straight up . I noticed immediately when i opened the rug ,but the hassel of return is not something that I want to mess with. This flaw will probably drive me crazy and hopefully it won't happen anywhere else on the rug. Aside from that this rug is beyond gorgeous. Looks so expensive and adds so much cozy texture to my living room. UPDATE: my beautiful rug is pilling like crazy! Even though some knots look bigger than the others and those areas create a bend I think it is overall a nice looking rug. I am gici g it 3 stars only because I like how it looks. Otherwise I would not give more than a star with the anount of shesding issue that I’m dealing with. I vacuum everyday and fills up the vacuum with so much fuzzy yarn. Later in the day it is on the floors throughout the entire hone as you walk in the other areas with the sane socks and clothes. It is like the most shedding pet I’ve never had!
