I love Savafieh rugs, but will be returning this one. The color changes depending on how the rug has been swept. It is either a shiny denim light blue with the white stripes noticeable, or (swept the opposite way) a teal with tan stripes. The former is too shiny for my taste.

I originally wanted this in a 6 ft. Square ivory version, but that was too small for the room. The light gray and ivory was the only option for an 8 ft.Square. It’s very subtle light gray, but does have some inconsistencies in the Grey thread, which is actually very lovely. Makes it unique. It’s very soft to walk on. all of the reviews that talk about extreme shedding really don’t happen for me. When I do vacuum it with my Dyson vacuum, quite a bit of fuz does get sucked up but it does not hurt the rug or damage any of the loops. I don’t find all over my house and it doesn’t shed anywhere else on feet or socks. I highly recommend this rug it is gorgeous. Great price!! ... show more

Have had this rug for several months now and it is still shedding a large size dogs worth of rug fiber every day! Literally fills up the canister of my vacuum with long fluffy rug fibers before I’ve finished vacuuming half the rug. It also snags horribly and you can’t fix the snags. Overall it is very soft and has nice muted colors but super high maintenance really detracts from its potential. I doubt it will survive a year before it is so tattered looking that we have to replace it. Super disappointing because it wasn’t cheap! ... show more

I like the look and the feel as well as the color, but it is impossible to keep up with the shedding fibers. I passed my window of return by a few weeks. I now have to go out and replace with a new carpet 360 dollars down the drain. I so wanted to like this carpet.

The colors are exactly as you see in my photos. It looks amazing. It is very soft and worth every penny. I kept changing my mind because of bad experience with other sellers where the colors were completely off! This rug looks and feels expensive. So glad I made the purchase!
