The rug is well made and has vivid colors just like described. It is indeed medium pile. My wife says it's beautiful and it does help her be more creative in her art studio she says. She does have one issue that was mentioned in a 1 star review by another customer....it is smaller on one side by roughly a tad shorter than 7.5 feet and not 8 foot as stated. in description. It is 10 ft plus a tad on the other end. She's not bothered by it because it's only 3.75" ish short on each side on one end. She loves the colors so much that we wouldn't think of returning it. I think the description should be updated for all the sizes (if theres discrepancies) to accurate sizes. I like the colors and quality so much that I have just purchased another through Amazon the Teal/Blue color in a larger size for the dining room. For some unknown reason it ships from Home Trends instead of Amazon. I will be posting a review for that too, pending arrival. Fingers crossed. I think the seller should update all the sizes to accurate sizes. ... show more

This is a high quality, BEAUTIFUL area rug. It laid out nicely after I opened it, and most of the wrinkles and curves disappeared within a day or two. The thickness is nice, about 3/8", which is what I was hoping for - thick enough to handle vaccuuming, but not too thick, and thin enough to handle, but not thin like some of those super thin printed "washable rugs". Those aren't rugs at all as far as I'm concerned - they are more like thick throw blankets. You can run a vaccuum over it, and even a Roomba struggles since it lifts too easily. This baby is a real rug, and the colors are just phenominal! I love it! You can match so many colors in it, so you can choose which direction to decorate by picking what you want from its pallat. We bought the 8' x 10', and it's MASSIVE! It's lovely in our livingroom, and protecting our hardwood floors well. It's easy to clean, and our Roomba has no issues whatsoever. If you love a FEW DROPS OF FANTASTIC CRISP COLOR & I Do Plus I can't Imagine any one being exactly the same? Looks as if some (drop or 3 of hot pink unless your studying it your unable to see) but if your cool w/a major theme & touches of teal (for us will pick up living room carpet! Cool, You'll love this & I adore my other Safavieh Carpet! All super soft, inexpensive & a total room changer! By this if you love orange but you not picky like I said there are colors tough to see unexpected drops but I look at it at Art! Makes the kitchen look bigger and gives new wood coming warmth! Use a rubber thing i.e. Under any non carpet surfaces like mine! Renovations start soon all wood carbonates lighting etc.,hard wood needs something that will hide stains (kitchen) pop color and make it look bigger! DONE! I love the other Safavieh I have in my Dining Room & with a loud splash like orange you can make a tiny space appear much smalker or larger! This is AWESOME! A Tiny kitchen exploded! Great small Area carpet & at that price get a few options for storage! But, until new wood floor is installed & after, I'm using this! I'm so happy I stumbled on this rug, the colors are identical to the pics and after purchasing one other rug (& returned) this is not easy to come by!! The warm orange, grey, deep yellow, beige and black complement the colors in my living room perfectly. I have a grey sofa and dark wood coffee/end table with gold/ bronze lamps. It ties everything together. The rug is very balanced with warm & light undertones. The only reason for 4 stars is although it's soft, it's on the thinner side. This is not a heavy rug. I don't have a rug pad under it (hardwood floors) but after about 2 weeks the edges are not completely flat & a little raised. I have heavy items trying to weigh it down. Not a deal breaker, but I also bought corner pads to see if it helps. So for the price and compared to similar quality rugs, I feel the cost could be better. Lovely soft rug for the price. Easy to clean with a quick vacuum. A little bit busy in the design so I paired it with a Tommy Helfiger blue denim comforter for a great looking room. Dark blue or grey sheets look beautiful to complete the look.

Those area rug is vibrant. I was hoping the blues would help bring out color in some of my decor and it did. Very impressed with the quality of the rug. It's so soft under our feet. Old Man Hippie approves too.

I am surprisingly pleased with the look, feel, and ease of these carpets. I replaced my very expensive old pieces with these and can’t believe how nice they are for the price. They are soft and vacuum so nicely. I love the blue in it. It’s a cool dark slate-blue, with splashes of dark turquoise, and the tans/browns mix nicely with it. It could go with so much. And they settled down with no kinks within a few hours after unrolling. We’ve had them for a few weeks now and almost immediately after putting them down, I was in a hurry and stepped in rabbit poo (we have a bunny) and smashed it into the carpet (yuck and EYE ROLL). I used Resolve carpet cleaner and it came right out, super easily, super fast, and you’d never be able to tell where it was. I was impressed. I also like the fact that the nap is low, and vacuums up pet hair really nicely, but is still soft and feels good under your bare feet. It also stays in place. In the past I’ve always had to use a non-slip piece under my carpets, but these don’t need it. They remain in place even with the dog running around. For the price, I would definitely purchase these again in the future. ... show more

I bought this rug for our entryway. It is well made, pretty and colorful with a low pile. Unfortunately, the quality control is poor. There are many loose threads coming out of the top of the rug that are part of the design and unsightly.
