Amazing rug. This rug is so thick and fluffy and perfect for our family room over hardwood. I am so glad I bought it. Everyone loves walking on the rug with bare feet. It stands up to cats and a dog well. It is beautiful and so luxurious. What a great purchase.

Absolutely love this rug. I bought this exact rug 5 years ago and after 3 kids it needed to be replaced. Thinking I would save money, I bought the cheaper version from this same company (rug was like $150ish) and it was awful, so I returned it and bought this one again. Definitely worth paying more for the higher quality rug. Size was perfect. Beautiful color and nice shaggy appearance. Although not necessary, I do recommend a carpet pad. We have this rug on hard tile, so put two down (1/4 inch and 1/2 inch) pads and it made it ultra plush. High quality. Very heavy duty. Only complaint is it had a heavy crease from being rolled that took a long time to try to straighten and still isn't perfectly flat. Definitely recommend. Although pricey, it is worth paying for the higher quality one and still cheaper than similar rugs at RC Willey. ... show more

A fantastic rug at an incredible price. I previously owned the SAFAVIEH California Premium Shag Rug, but this SAFAVIEH Milan Shag Rug is much much softer and thicker. It lies flat, and there is no noticeable odor when unwrapped. You will not be disappointed.

I have to say, I have sent or taken a couple rugs back, due to poor quality or color issues. It’s difficult for me to unroll and roll back up, so I almost always get my rugs from a pricey full service store. This rug was awesome! Cushy, beautiful color, SOOO soft and plush. Very happy!!! I thought because it was not very expensive ( a 10x14 at a full service store would’ve been at least 3X this price) it would not be so luxurious. Can’t say enough!!! ... show more

Soft, plush and just what I wanted! It arrived quickly and well packaged, with the ends covered with a protective "shower-cap-type" elastic-lined fabric. It unwrapped and laid flat all but the last 2 inches or so which were flat in the morning. It does have a bit of a chemical smell, but it dissipated quickly and was not bad enough to bother us while sleeping in the same room the night we got the rug. It also had a note from the company saying how they pay attention to detail and how customer service is important (nice touch) and they mean it because I actually had them ship me 3 FREE SAMPLES before I decided on the color. Speaking of color... Trueness to Color: When comparing the swatches sent to me: white, silver and dark grey - I opted for the dark grey. BUT when I received it, the rug was actually MUCH DARKER than the sample was that they sent me! I actually liked it better, but it is almost black which is a very big difference, so BEWARE! *See pics* Compared to other rugs: This one (Unique Loom Solid Shag Collection Snow White 4 x 6 Area Rug (4' x 6')) was so cheaply made I could see the backing through the surface! It also claimed to be white but was a yellowy off-white and had a slippery backing that would require a rug gripper under it. My favorite rug of all time for softness is (K-MAT 32x47 Inch Large Luxury White Bath Mat Soft Shaggy Bathroom Rugs Non-slip Rubber Shower Rugs Microfiber Washable Bath Rug For Floor Bathroom Bedroom Living Room) but it's just a large bath rug and not available in 8' x 10' or I would have been overjoyed! The rug is beautiful and the backing is textured enough that I don't use a rug gripper under it. Anyway, after shopping for several weeks for a good rug, this one is finally the softness, plushness, thickness, non-slipperiness, color and price I wanted!
