I answered a question for another buyer that this doesn't shed. Now that I've had it a month, I can say the yarns themselves don't pull out easily as it's looped and not cut, however after about 2 weeks I started noticing fibers from the yarns everywhere. I never used a beater bar on it but the vacuum bin will fill up in nothing flat full of fibers from the yarns. I thought maybe it would let up. It hasn't. Have returned it. Very disappointed and it was the only one of this brand that I tried that didn't smell of dye, or mildew, or have yarns that just pull out, etc. ... show more
