I read the reviews very carefully before ordering this rug. A rug is a big investment. A 9x12 rug is something you are going to be living with a very long time. If you are ordering this on line and not looking at it in the store, you kind of get those "Hebee-jeebe" butterflies in your stomach that say better be really careful of what you are doing. This thing is going to be really hard to return if you don't like it. SO......I READ the reviews........I looked at the photos......I ENLARGED the photos.......I RE-READ the reviews ( starting with all the 1-Star ratings). After a couple of weeks, I purchased this rug and of all things it arrived 1 day earlier than the Amazon Prime guaranteed 2-day shipping. (wonder if Amazon was keeping tabs on just how many times I had been looking and reading all about this rug ?? ). It is EXACTLY what it looks like in the photos....no more, no less. It will go with just about any decor to have in mind, with out over powering the room. It does not look cheap.....it most definitely does not feel cheap. It is well finished around the edges and is true to shape. I purchased a 9 x 12 and it is actually a 9 x 12. It is a low pile. I am not using a rug pad underneath. It is not moving, but then again I have a sectional sofa on one end of the room and a media credenza on the opposite end that keeps the rug where it should be. It vacuums nicely and I will tell you honestly this was the very best investment I could have spent on a rug of this quality..... ... show more

    • We've Put This Rug Through The Ringer!!

I've had this rug for 2 months now and let me just say WOW! A little perspective: Our household is made up of 4 kids (ages 18-3 years old), a black lab, a LARGE Great Dane pupper, and a cat. This rug was placed in the center of our living room, where we spend the majority of our time. Within the first week, it had a grape juice spill, play doh shredded on it, a 120 pound Dane pupper pee on it (TWICE!), a stomach virus hitting our 3 & 5 year olds (think lots of 🤮🤮), and our cat trying to use it as a scratching post. That's not even taking into account all the heavy foot traffic (and paw traffic; our Dane pupper is HUUUGE, with big, thick nails and this rug triggers his zoomies!!) This rug looks just the same as it did the day it arrived!! I've rubbed, scrubbed, vacuumed, or shampooed this rug everyday for one reason or another and it has far exceeded my expectations! *Liquids (even staining colors like red or purple) come right up with very little effort and have yet to actually stain the rug. Not only is the pattern extremely forgiving, but it's like it's been sprayed with Scotchgard. *This rug is TOUGH! I NEVER imagined this rug would hold up to the insane zoomies our Dane gets, but it's not even had a single snag! *The pile is short but that's exactly what we needed because it makes for easier cleaning. And yes, it is extremely comfortable/soft to lay on! *There have been some comments about a chemical smell but ours only smelled "new." I have an extremely sensitive sniffer due to a medical condition and it didn't bother me at ALL and it was gone very quickly. *After laying it out, it laid perfectly flat within 30 minutes. I searched for months for the perfect rug and I'm so glad I chose this one. It is absolutely worth every penny. If you're on the fence, just buy it. You won't be sorry!! ... show more

ABsolutely love this rug!!!! Hubby was hesitant but once we got it he likes it!colors are there but not to over bright and the pattern isn’t to eye taking- it compliments with a smile but doesn’t take over the room! Thin but with 4kids that’s ok! Price is perfect here!!!!

It's a Bohemian pattern with the right amount of color pop without being gaudy or overwhelming.I bought the 8x10 and couldn't be happier with the texture and construction. Great rug for our foyer! The colors really help bring my foyer together! I just wish it was a little thicker. I will add padding to increase the thickness but overall it's a great purchase! I love love the colors!
