If this rug is your style don't hesitate buy it NOW you won't regret it I promise! First of all the suggested retail on this rug is almost $900.00 and honestly it is worth every penny of that price however it is sold for an extremely discounted price which is mind-blowing. This rug is soft, high quality, very well made and absolutely gorgeous. The colors are bright however fade into more muted colors which is the way the design is intended to be, this rug gives the perfect amount of bright colors and uniqueness, it will compliment almost any home decor, whether that be boho, farmhouse, modern, or vintage just to name a few. This rug is hands down the best rug I have ever owned and I have owned a plethora of them. The rug comes folded, but do not be fret, it comes with simple instructions to roll the rug and leave it rolled for a period of time then lay it down. We kept ours rolled for 48 hours ( only because we were moving) and it laid completely flat with no bumps or folds anywhere in sight. To extend longevity of the corners of rug I suggest getting carpet tape and putting it on the corners of the rug, especially of you have little ones. Cleaning: perfect rug to use a carpet cleaner on.     • An Investment You Won't Ever Regret

I read the reviews very carefully before ordering this rug. A rug is a big investment. A 9x12 rug is something you are going to be living with a very long time. If you are ordering this on line and not looking at it in the store, you kind of get those "Hebee-jeebe" butterflies in your stomach that say better be really careful of what you are doing. This thing is going to be really hard to return if you don't like it. SO......I READ the reviews........I looked at the photos......I ENLARGED the photos.......I RE-READ the reviews ( starting with all the 1-Star ratings). After a couple of weeks, I purchased this rug and of all things it arrived 1 day earlier than the Amazon Prime guaranteed 2-day shipping. (wonder if Amazon was keeping tabs on just how many times I had been looking and reading all about this rug ?? ). It is EXACTLY what it looks like in the photos....no more, no less. It will go with just about any decor to have in mind, with out over powering the room. It does not look cheap.....it most definitely does not feel cheap. It is well finished around the edges and is true to shape. I purchased a 9 x 12 and it is actually a 9 x 12. It is a low pile. I am not using a rug pad underneath. It is not moving, but then again I have a sectional sofa on one end of the room and a media credenza on the opposite end that keeps the rug where it should be. It vacuums nicely and I will tell you honestly this was the very best investment I could have spent on a rug of this quality..... ... show more

I bought this rug in 9 x 12, grey/gold after doing a lot of research online on similar rugs but especially on this product. I found that it is sold in various color combinations and with varying degrees of "fadedness." I also found that what appeared to be the same rug is available from several online platforms, although sometimes with a different name. With that being said, I decided on this rug because it seemed to be a good combination of gray, beige, yellow/gold, and blueish tones, which is what I have a mix of in my family room. I was looking for a rug with a distressed and somewhat faded pattern, and I'm pleased with what I ended up with. It was also the best price that I could find, and I was happy to order from Amazon (as a Prime customer and also since I've been happy with their return policy in the past). Here are some of the reasons I did not give this rug 5 stars: 1) Size - the rug I received is not 9ft by 12ft; it is slightly smaller (by a 3-4 inches, at least on the 9ft end). In one of my photos, you'll see my a split-screen of my tape measure. The rug is A) not 9 ft wide, and B) clearly smaller than the 9x12 rug pad I bought. I was, of course, hoping for the opposite to be true (rug pad smaller than the actual rug), but that isn't the case. It's not a big deal to me personally, but thought it was worth mentioning. I double-checked the listing and couldn't find anything to suggest it would be smaller than the dimensions advertised. 2) Needs a rug pad - as a new homeowner, I am not well-educated about buying rugs and was not previously aware of the need for a rug pad. I don't know if all rugs need a rug pad or if it's just dependent on how thin they are, but this one definitely does (at least when placed on hard surface floors). Just something extra to factor into the cost when you're planning. 3) Stain & wear resistance, cleaning ability, etc. - I recently bought this rug, and the room it will ultimately be placed in is currently "under construction," so this rug is not actively being used. I've had it long enough to unroll it and get out *most* of the wrinkled parts that probably come with any rug that was rolled and wrapped tightly. So basically, I can't give this rug a rating for how well it holds up to regular use, cleaning, etc., because I haven't used it thoroughly yet. I don't feel comfortable giving it 5 stars if I haven't tested that aspect of it, but I didn't want to take off too many stars for that reason either, so I thought 4 stars was fair. Notes on the color: aside from quality, the reason I was most concerned about buying a rug online was because of the color. When I found this product (in its various versions) online, I felt like the same item looked so different in official product pictures versus people's reviews, etc. Not to mention that with so many color options, I couldn't tell if the photos I was looking at were even for the right rug. I hope you find my photos helpful when you're making your buying decision. I think the rug looks a bit more "white-washed" depending on the amount of light in the photo. You can even tell the difference in some of my pictures - one was taken after first being unrolled (you can see the ripples/wrinkles) and then the others were taken two weeks later. There is clearly some beige, light gray, darker gray, yellow/gold, dark blue-green, and pink in this rug. There are different areas of the rug that are more saturated with color and the pattern/design than others. My guess is that no two rugs are exactly the same but I have no idea if that's true. ... show more
