My mother wanted a rug in an unusual size. Gave this to her as a birthday present. Her desire was a really pretty rug in a 9’x9’ size without much fluffiness or pile. This rug fit those requirements perfectly. It has a lovely pattern with more subtle colors and a medium size pile. We consider this excellent for the price. Wears nicely and looks beautiful. She doesn’t have pets or high traffic, so this is something we can’t rate. I do feel it would wear well in my home of 5 dogs. We have other rugs in this brand throughout our home that have cleaned well and withstood paws, nails and incredibly raucous rounds of big dog play. I have a productivity coaching business and host a podcast, so I needed a new rug for my new office that would help with sound and create a space conducive to work. I painted my walls a dark teal and then after searching locally to no avail, had to take a chance on a rug online. After scrolling many sites, I finally selected this one. It wasn't the cheapest, but the price was certainly right. The order came quickly and the colors are true to what I saw online. The darker tone is definitely in the blue/navy family, but between that and the turquoise, it complements the walls nicely. The cream and grey tones keep the floor light and the overall pattern provides a neutral, grounding. The pattern is excellent for spaces that aren't symmetrical (mine has a door to the side and I wanted to cover the floor beyond where the desk will be.) The rug itself isn't thick, but it's soft. And you can already tell it absorbs the sound I need for better recordings. (I will be doing acoustic tile as well.) I was happy that it rolled out easily and in one day laid flat. ) (I weighed the corners down to ensure.) I have furniture to hold the rug in place and don't detect any slip. A rug pad would help with that and for cushion but isn't necessary. I was also grateful I didn't detect off gassing either. This rug was surprisingly thick and very true to the picture. One end came a bit frayed unfortunately but otherwise was good quality and well packed. It lay fully flat after about 2 weeks

Absolutely love it though not thrilled about the corners curling up after a very short timeframe and minimal use. It's a great quality other than the aforementioned and below. Perhaps rug tape could help ensure they don't curl up. Would also recommend getting a non slip mat to place under as this runner moves around easily on a non wax porcelain tile floor ... show more
