Ordering a rig from the internet isn’t the best way to shop for this type of things, there’s a lot of reviews complaint about wrinkles and I honestly expected that. It’s shipped to save on cost and space so of course it will be wrapped weird and tight. I unwrapped it and let it sit for an hour, then I rolled it opposite of how is came wrapped with a hot towel in side and that’s it the pictures you see are just a few hours from receiving the rug.

I absolutely love this carpet!! I changed up my living room and wasn't sure how sturdy it would be..if the colors would be the same as shown in the picture!! The colors pattern is absolutely beautiful, received so many compliments and fits perfectly in my living room!! Absolutely worth the price!!!

I bought this rug in 9 x 12, grey/gold after doing a lot of research online on similar rugs but especially on this product. I found that it is sold in various color combinations and with varying degrees of "fadedness." I also found that what appeared to be the same rug is available from several online platforms, although sometimes with a different name. With that being said, I decided on this rug because it seemed to be a good combination of gray, beige, yellow/gold, and blueish tones, which is what I have a mix of in my family room. I was looking for a rug with a distressed and somewhat faded pattern, and I'm pleased with what I ended up with. It was also the best price that I could find, and I was happy to order from Amazon (as a Prime customer and also since I've been happy with their return policy in the past). Here are some of the reasons I did not give this rug 5 stars: 1) Size - the rug I received is not 9ft by 12ft; it is slightly smaller (by a 3-4 inches, at least on the 9ft end). In one of my photos, you'll see my a split-screen of my tape measure. The rug is A) not 9 ft wide, and B) clearly smaller than the 9x12 rug pad I bought. I was, of course, hoping for the opposite to be true (rug pad smaller than the actual rug), but that isn't the case. It's not a big deal to me personally, but thought it was worth mentioning. I double-checked the listing and couldn't find anything to suggest it would be smaller than the dimensions advertised. 2) Needs a rug pad - as a new homeowner, I am not well-educated about buying rugs and was not previously aware of the need for a rug pad. I don't know if all rugs need a rug pad or if it's just dependent on how thin they are, but this one definitely does (at least when placed on hard surface floors). Just something extra to factor into the cost when you're planning. 3) Stain & wear resistance, cleaning ability, etc. - I recently bought this rug, and the room it will ultimately be placed in is currently "under construction," so this rug is not actively being used. I've had it long enough to unroll it and get out *most* of the wrinkled parts that probably come with any rug that was rolled and wrapped tightly. So basically, I can't give this rug a rating for how well it holds up to regular use, cleaning, etc., because I haven't used it thoroughly yet. I don't feel comfortable giving it 5 stars if I haven't tested that aspect of it, but I didn't want to take off too many stars for that reason either, so I thought 4 stars was fair. Notes on the color: aside from quality, the reason I was most concerned about buying a rug online was because of the color. When I found this product (in its various versions) online, I felt like the same item looked so different in official product pictures versus people's reviews, etc. Not to mention that with so many color options, I couldn't tell if the photos I was looking at were even for the right rug. I hope you find my photos helpful when you're making your buying decision. I think the rug looks a bit more "white-washed" depending on the amount of light in the photo. You can even tell the difference in some of my pictures - one was taken after first being unrolled (you can see the ripples/wrinkles) and then the others were taken two weeks later. There is clearly some beige, light gray, darker gray, yellow/gold, dark blue-green, and pink in this rug. There are different areas of the rug that are more saturated with color and the pattern/design than others. My guess is that no two rugs are exactly the same but I have no idea if that's true.

Rug is thick and has subtle colors. The creases that were seen when the rug just came will be gone (almost) after you roll the rug backwards and leave it there for a few days. I love this rug. It’s not too expensive either.
