This rug is heavier than many of similar price without being overly thick. I have a bonus room that is over a cold (in winter) garage, under a sloped roof, and except for an entry way, not next to any other rooms, meaning the room is difficult to keep warm. The carpet is thin, so I have been laying rugs all over to insulate from the garage. This is a solid rug that is just thin enough to fit under my closet and room doors (as shown in my photo) without adjusting the doors. I like the pattern. Not surprisingly, the rug came rolled up with the underside out; stretching it out upside down on the floor for a while and putting items on top remedied the tendency to curl up. I will note that a warning on the package (I think it said not to slit the plastic wrap lengthwise but open at the end) was covered by multiple address labels, making the instruction almost indecipherable. In any case, I did not notice that warning, which could have been in larger and more colorful print to catch my attention, until after I started to pull the rug out from the wrap. The rug is not 6โ€™ x 9โ€™. It is 5โ€™11โ€ x 9โ€™ 1โ€. I did not realize this until I ordered a rug pad and the pad was bigger than the rug. It is a nice rug for the price, however, particularly if you want a bright, more modern look.

This rug is first and foremost beautiful. It looks expensive. Itโ€™s very deep and heavyweight for the price pointโ€”I was expecting something kind of flimsy but was pleasantly surprised. However, be aware that this is NOT a soft rug. Itโ€™s kind of scratchy and itchy. Great for decor but not so much for sitting on. My other complaint is that it sheds a lot. Itโ€™s durable and has held up to my two cats for over a year now BUT every time I clean it (around once a week) it sheds a shocking quantity of colorful fluff from each section. ... show more

I searched, what seemed like forever, for a rug with a pretty green in it. I finally found this one and could not be happier! It is a bit on the thin side but you cannot beat the price. Rugs always come tightly rolled so be sure to unroll it then roll it the opposite way that it came to get all the creases out and so the ends will not flip up.
