I hesitated to order a rug on line.... It's so hard to tell the actual color and quality from photos, but I figured- what the heck? If it's awful there's a Whole Foods return counter nearby. The SAFAVIEH Lyndhurst Collection Area Rug Ivory & Rust is EXACTLY what I hoped for- maybe better! The colors are vibrant and the patterns are crisp. It's a true rust color, not too orange or red. The sage green, tans and golds blend perfectly. It's soft and did not have a horrible smell when opened. The pile is low, but has cushioning. It's "relaxing" well after being rolled during shipping. Can't report on durability because it's brand new. Will update later. Well worth the price. ... show more

I bought the 8x10 rug and when it came in, I noticed it seemed a bit off in comparison to my roommate who is around 6’2. We measured it and it ended up only being 7’6 when it should have been 8 feet. I didn’t measure the 10 foot side, but that side seems okay. 6 inches out of 8 feet doesn’t seem like a big deal but it is noticeable. Don’t get me wrong though - I absolutely adore the rug and it looks beautiful in my living room. It seems to be high quality and I wouldn’t want any other rug. It just is a bit disappointing for it to be smaller than it said in the listing. Still gets a 4 stars as I adore it. ... show more

Except for the fact that it was shipped folded instead of rolled (I mean I guess it's easier to handle packaged that way, but really don't like it) this is a pretty amazing rug for the price point. It is thick, plush and the color is exactly as I expected. Much heavier weight than the last "cheap" rug I ordered from Amazon. Also, despite being shipped folded, the creases are relaxing and it's almost completely flat in just a few days (a little problem still with the short side on one end, but I'm hopeful). ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The two 8x11 rugs that I ordered arrived earlier than expected. They were packaged very well, and when unrolled they were easy enough to install. The color is just as expected based on photos, and the thickness is decent. I was surprised that the thickness color and appearance was so very nice for the price of the carpet. We bought the round one for the foyer, and it sets a elegant tone the minute we step in the house. It is thin, but too thick to go uder the door sweep, which was to be expected. Lovely patterns on these Safavieh rugs, this is the 2nd one we purchased online from Amazon.

This rug is so pretty. It is made well. It is soft but a rug pad i think is a must. I think all area rugs need a rug pad. The color is not as vibrant (orange)as the pictures show with the description. But that is what i was looking for. I was hesitant to buy it because the orange looked so bright but i took the chance and am glad i did. The colors in this rug go great with my den furniture. I am more country so this is great.
