If you are not expecting a "blue" rug, you won't be disappointed. It is a subtle gray blue that I am thrilled with. The only thing I was less than happy about is the dimensions were a couple of inches short on both sides. Soft and comfortable under foot, looks luxurious!

I purchased this Himalayan type rug a third time before I received one in the right color, as described. But I can see why errors can be made because the rug colors are subtle but different shades of gray. I also thought maybe the first two had been prior used and returned because of some slight misshaping or warping to a couple sections of the edges. All the rugs are very soft and plush. This slate color rug, however, has nice straight edges, and no warping issue. A little pilling or shedding but quite nominal owing to the tightly packed knotting. I was under the impression that the stone color was light with a little bit of darker lines running through it. Wrong. The whole thing is a cool beige gray color. The ends looking nicely finished in the photo. In reality it's a cheap looking rug that feels ok comfort wise.

In case anyone was thinking of buying this rug in taupe, the picture isn't too accurate: it is more of a grey with greenish undertones. It suits me well but doesn't have the brown shade that is shown in the picture. I haven't noticed any shedding yet. Nice, thick and heavy rug and as a runner sits firmly (with a pad) with no movement. Also at least the taupe version is not all wool: 75% wool, 20% cotton, 5% viscose.
