I have wanted this rug for a while! Some of the reviews made me a little nervous as they stated the colors were different than the photos and had issues with shedding. However, I figured with free Prime shipping the worst that could happen was that I would have to send it back. So I took a chance and ordered it. I am so glad I did!! I almost fainted when it arrived in a plastic-wrapped square blob on my front porch. I assumed it would come rolled up, but to my horror, it was folded up for shipping!! I thought for sure it would have horrible creases in it and it would need to be sent back, but thankfully when we unfolded it and laid it out, the creases came right out and it looked perfect. The colors are definitely different than the photo (which I expected), but I am very happy with the colors. It's more of a darker grayish/greenish/blue than the aqua/teal in the photo. The other colors are rust orange, dark yellow, gray and tan. Fortunately, it worked perfectly with my existing decor! You would have thought I had planned the room around the rug with how well it coordinates! It is also very thick and soft, especially with the thick Gorilla Grip felt rug pad we are using under it. It feels lovely walking on it with bare feet. My dogs also find it very comfortable and can be found curling up on it all the time, as you can see in the photo. It sheds some, but not bad. I expect this will improve over time with vacuuming. It also hides pet hair well, which is an added bonus for those of us with dogs that have to vacuum daily! I have received MANY compliments on this rug and expect it to last a long time. All in all, I am extremely happy with my purchase and feel is well worth the purchase price! ... show more

Shades are pleasing. It’s a muted red-orange and the blue is peri-winkle. It sets off the colors in my living room perfect. Lines are clear in the patern. Pile is thick and soft. Seems to be high quality. No shedding noted at all. No pad needed. It’s plenty thick and stable.

This rug is a beautiful thick well made rug in muted colors (just like the pictures). A nice addition to any decor.----- I am very happy with this purchase and the price. However this note is to anyone buying one of these rugs.... as this is a NEW WOOL rug it takes daily vaccuming for a while before it stops shedding. Thick and comfy underfoot. Sheds and some of the tufts have come loose. Looks attractive and classic. Always pair with a well made rug pad. Would be good in lower traffic homes. Pet paws may snag.

This beautiful Safavieh wool rug definitely exceeded my expectations. The colors and pattern were just what I was hoping for. The pile of the rug is very soft and plush and I have seem no shedding at all with two vacuumings. I have been very satisfied with Safavieh wool rugs and they appears to be much more expensive than they are and are quailty rugs. Beautiful colors and perfect for my Southwest home. Rug is thick and has shed very little since I got it. If it's not in a lot of light, it will appear darker, more like burnt orange. In lighter areas it appears as it does in the pictures. Would definitely buy this brand again.

Rug is very good quality, came quickly, nice and thick. Now the bad. Did not look anything like the vibrant rug pictured in the website. The sage in it looked like dirty green. Whole rug colors looked old and dirty. I bought this rug because of the vibrant colors on the website. Returning this rug.

I needed a large area rug - 12 x 18 - for my walk-out lake house den. My furniture is caramel colored leather. The blue and ivory has accents of brown/rust that work nicely with the leather. I used two 9 x 12 felt pads under the rug. It is very soft and looks much more expensive. I am pleased with my choice. I highly recommend the "ROOM of CHOICE" delivery option for an item this heavy. Amazon Logistics was delayed on the first delivery schedule but did contact me directly by phone.
